It was great, but we were the guinea pigs for their new brunch, so there are some definite kinks to work out. They did not seem prepared to greet us even though we had a reservation. We were seated immediately though. We had to ask the waiter to come back to take my daughter's order. She skipped over her entirely. Out of a few items that were listed on the menu. Took over 10 minutes for drinks. They only had 3 tables, but also only had one bartender. It was frustrating for us to watch 3 servers standing by the bar waiting for the drinks instead of them helping out to make them. The server kept reaching in front of us instead of to the side. She also kept squeezing herself to the back of the table which was a bit uncomfortable. Food was excellent for taste, portion, temp, and cost though. I will say their Charcuterie board is definitely for more than 1 person and should not be listed as a main breakfast entrée. We are big brunch people and would probably go back for another try.
Cool spot. Nice ambiance. Server was solid and attentive but not obtrusive. Had the filet mignon which was good but not great. Crab on top was very fishy and tasted like it was straight out of a can. $45. Didn't compare to Del Frisco, Perry's, Shanahan's or the other $50 steaks in town. GF had the short ribs which she said were excellent. The stout beer, forget the maker, was very good. House salad was very tasty - great dressing. Nice spot and very chill but pricey for what you get.
The food was good. We just couldn’t seem to get plates cleared, drinks refilled or get to order drinks at all some times. We went 30 to 40 minutes awaiting a drink and even had to go up to the bar to get a drink refill from our table a few times. The place was not very full so I’m unsure why this was? The apps were grand and the duck fries and crab cake were delightful. The steaks, salmon, and chicken were all good entree wise. Salads were also good. For 100.00 a person it just would have been nice to get drinks refilled and delivered and app plates removed/ empty drinks removed to have room for entrees etc. Our waitress was very polite.
I had high hopes for this new spot. Limited menu and overpriced. We’ll try it one more time after they’ve been open longer.
Stopped in for a drink and appetizers. Service was excellent, will be back when the menu expands.

Not great. I expected more.

portion size of scallops should have been more for the price but very tasty.
Excellent service- drinks and food were great!
Overall the experience was, ‘meh.’ Staff was trying hard, but they had run out of several things (low on French fries???) and for a filet that cost nearly as much as Shanahan’s, we would have expected something that tastes better.
Really wanted to like it, and support nicer places to eat in Parker, but likely will not be back.
Soooo overpriced for the experience and food.
Got there a bit early for a reservation but got seated right away. Service was great and it was nice that the chef came out to speak with us.
Food was above average, but not great. Lump crab mac & cheese didn't have much crab on it. The dinner special pork short ribs were good but slightly overcooked. I think they ought to include more of the entrée sides for the pricing. Sides with a larger quantity are priced a la carte.
Cocktails and wine were well-poured and reasonably priced.
I feel we paid a bit more for the overall experience than it was worth but not by a huge margin.
We will go back.
Valentine’s Day special menu was the only option as they were not serving other menu items. $85 pp was extremely over priced for items I (and assuming most others) would not have ordered otherwise (I.e liver pâté). The first course of appetizers was not impressive and honestly did not taste well. The salads we received were loaded with lettuce and not much of anything else. The main course... braised short ribs and the sirloin and lobster, however were phenomenal!! The portion size was perfect and the taste was amazing. The desserts, again not impressed. Definitely not worth the $85 pp.
The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing, but the temperature in the restaurant was cold and required a jacket to stay comfortable. Overall, it has a lot of potential. Willing to give it another try.
Great food, however, our server was not the greatest. She seemed to have forgotten us a few times. We had to use our drinks to the edge to get her to come by our table.
First time here for Valentine's dinner. We were very impressed with the friendly, attentive service and an absolutely delicious 4 course dinner. The crostini appetizer was amazing! This is our new go-to restaurant in Parker.
Great food and friendly staff, enjoyed our evening very much!
Hostess really needs to work on her customer service skills. No eye contact hats off to the chef! My first Short ribs w Parmesan grits😮🎉🙌 fabulous!!
Great location and very nice decor but really needs to expand the menu and drink selections.
Excellent food. Looking forward to the lobster bisque when it comes back on the menu. Great service! Nice selection of whiskey and beer. Peaceful place for a nice dinner.
Great atmosphere and wonderful staff
A cocktail we usually pay $18 fir is now $22, without telling us
Had another drink and was charged 2 different prices
Great food and service but a little pricey
Fantastic food and atmosphere and outstanding service. Will definitely return.
Food was mediocre for the price... We could’ve eat at Shanahan’s for the same price and way better food and ambiance
Seated by the bar was pretty loud. Seemed more like a sports bar atmosphere than fine dining. Server was awesome. Shrimp cocktail was mushy but my husband’s steak was very good.

Absolutely amazing meal! The bone marrow alone was to rave about, as for their oysters and steak are above and beyond.
The food was great and our server was also excellent! Loved the entire time until the bill came...WOW! Was surprised at a $449.00 bill for 4 people. The cocktails were quite expensive the food was on point with a Del Frisco price point. Don’t get me wrong we had a great time but this would not be a regular night out for us and we dine out often.
Socially distanced. Delicious food and yummy drinks. Super friendly server. But it did take awhile to get drinks after they were ordered.
Hey there! Thank you for taking the time to post your feedback! We are constantly looking for ways to improve and your feedback is so helpful. We went a week or so after they reopened and we had an excellent experience. The food was really good-we shared a crab cake, wedge salad and the Oscar style filet. All was very good, especially the crab cake. They also had a nice drink selection and my husband raved about the scotch options and the smoked Manhattan. They were still working out there service, but they were all very nice and jumping in to help each other. We'll definitely be back!
We are so glad to hear you had a fantastic experience at The Douglas and LOVE to hear that you saw our team working together! The Oscar style filet is delicious and we are glad you enjoyed it. Our cocktail menu and our bartenders are phenomenal and glad your husband loved the smoked Manhattan. We look forward to serving you again soon!
Outstanding strip steak for me and salmon for my wife. Wonderful service and staff. Will definitely return.
Gary, thank you so much for taking time to post your feedback. We are glad to hear that your experience was fabulous. Join us again soon, we've made space for you.
The pricing is high for the food quality. With that type of pricing, I would rather go to Perry’s or another nice steakhouse for the atmosphere. It looks like an Irish pub inside. I honestly wish they would turn this into a pub instead of what they have done with it.
Hi Katie. Thank you so much for taking the time to post a review after dining with us at The Douglas. We are CONSTANTLY making changes and looking for ways to improve and your feedback is so helpful. We hope you'll give us another chance to wow you!
I made reservations a month before for my husbands birthday. The reservation was confirmed by Ricks Prime the day before by email confirmation. We showed up to celebrate my husbands birthday to find the establishment closed. Very disappointing.
So great. The staff and food are amazing.
Our first time there. Surprised the noise level was so high. Food and service wete excellent! Prices as expected.
The food at Rick's is great -- best beef around. The service was outstanding -- Kinsey was a great waitress and Chef Adam came out and asked how our meals were. We went up to the top floor for dessert after dinner and were disappointed that the piano player had gone home. Will come again to hear the live entertainment at Martini's.
We have never paid so much for an average steak dinner. Our waiter was great but, We paid $260 for a meal and drinks that should have cost half that!
The service, atmosphere and food quality are all very nice. The prices are over the top.
Our server was AMAZING! Will definitely be back just to see her.
Some aspects of the meal were very good and then others were quite mediocre. The steaks were excellent but the seafood left a lot to be desired. Scallops were good - King Crab was bland and small.....seafood tower that was quite pricey was nothing special. The smoked mangonado was a visual treat and unusual flavors - it was entertaining to watch it be made, for sure. The lamb was a bit tough and again, nothing special. All in all, I think they have a way to go to really shine. Might give them another shot once they have been in business longer.
Waitress was fantastic! Called four times that day with questions on the menu. Left two voicemails, no call back. Called at 2, 4, 5 and 6. No answer and no call back.
Same price as Capital Grill, no comparison. Bread is not provided at the table, have to ask for it. Steak came out alone on the plate. No garnish, no decorations, just meat on a plate. I recommend Capital Grill for a high-end meal. Not going back to Rick’s.
My wife and I went on a Sunday night for restaurant week. It was reasonably full for a Sunday night, and the atmosphere was cozy, yet sophisticated. Overall service was great, although drinks sometimes took awhile.
For the appetizer course we both had the lobster bisque, which we each thought was the best we had ever tasted (enhanced by a request for bread to the table, as it did not come with it). For the main course, we both decided on the 8 ounce sirloin, hers rare and mine medium rare. Both were pretty close on cook, tender, juicy, and flavorful. For dessert, she had the chocolate cake with cherries/sauce, and I had the salted caramel ice cream with espresso shot. We agreed that hers was fantastic, especially with the use of the specialized cherries and sauce. I loved the ice cream, and the espresso was strong yet balanced. Overall a great dine, which one should expect for the prices.
