The Dorset Pub & Eatery is Calgary’s Authentic British Pub, located near the corner of 37th St and 17th Ave SW. Fresh Food, Real Pints, Live Entertainment, Delicious Cocktails and much, much more!

Come and check out our signature fish & chips and chicken tikka masala, along side our other dishes, many of which have been created in-house from scratch by our talented Head Chef, Nate.

We have a sunny patio for those of you who prefer to be outside in the summer months, two professional dart boards, and live football (soccer) is often shown on our TVs.

We are excited to welcome minors until 8pm each day of the week! We have limited availability on high chairs and booster seats; please confirm with us prior to arrival if you require one of these.

Our beautiful pub features two semi-private spaces that can accomodate medium and larger sized groups easily. Our Weymouth + Bridport areas will accomodate up to 75 seated, & up to 100 standing, with a range of seating. Our Thomas Hardy room will accomodate 15-20 seated & includes dartboards and a cozy fireplace.

We had a reservation and had drink orders taken right away but then waited 30 mins before the server took our food order. Had to ask for water twice. Dorset burger was overdone and dry. Yorkshire dips were good. When we asked about dessert, we were told the kitchen had already closed but we weren’t informed before it happened or asked if we wanted anything else. We like the ambience but the service and food don’t have us rushing back.

Nice authentic pub surroundings with great staff and some interesting beers. - Fersty Ferret is really good and I doubt you could get it anywhere else in town. - Tried the Sunday Roast Dinner special but ours was a bit tough.

Service was very good, food was mixed amongst the four of us. I had bangers and mash which was a bit salty but overall delicous. My wife had wings which were way over done, unfortunately. Nice place for catching up with friends over a beer!

Some great beer on tap (e.g. Firsty Ferret) … at reasonable prices and on special for Friday night (Kilkenny and Guinness). Good pub atmosphere. Really great friendly service. Food we had (fish n chips) was average but lots of choice on menu.

a perfect table, not too loud to catch up for we four.The kitchen was very attentive to allergy requirements. The wings were just a little slow in arriving (not a problem) but we were told that, because of the slight delay, were complimentary. Wonderful service, food was mostly interesting and cooked to perfection. We had a great night and will be back.
