Steaks were good but over cooked. Server didnt seem to really be concerned. By the time a manager stopped to check in on us we were basically done. Other than that issue service was attentive and Apps were great.

What a gem we found. We were at the vineyards and wanted to have a nice meal. Opened my app to search for restaurants near me and low and behold Dimon Estates popped up. It was only 5 minutes away and off the Sound Ave and traffic. The atmosphere was great. Beautiful day so we ate on the patio. Servers were great and the food was yummy! I honestly can’t wait to go back and share with other friends.

Very underwhelmed - the sewer like smell coming from the bathroom was lingering the whole meal. Food was hit or miss. A medium rare filet was more like medium, but there was nothing tender about the cut. It was so bland. Fried Brie was delicious, the server was so friendly, and we loved the cocktails … all a plus!

We had a lovely early Sunday dinner outdoors on gorgeous spring day. The staff was warm and inviting, the ambience was unpretentiously pleasant, and the garden and birds an excellent backdrop to the exquisite food. The history of the estate owned by shipbuilders crafting schooners that plied trade between the US and Asia manifest in a split cuisine featuring dishes that represent both worlds. Grilled Scallops with orange miso soba noodle salad, Lemon Ice Oysters on the half shell, Tagarashi Tuna with grilled cabbage and kimchi slaw, Long Island Duck as drumettes with dipping sauce or as grilled breast are all highly recommended. We had a lovely Belden Rose Sparkler - a local wine - to go with the meal and topped it off with bread pudding and "the best pistachio ice cream" my spouse has ever had. Tucked between Rt 25 and Sound Avenue on Manor lane, it's quite a bit quieter outdoors than the wineries along those roads, but easily accessible. Looking forward to a return visit!

We had the most amazing experience dining at The Dimon Estate. We sat outside in this beautiful, quiet setting surrounded by gorgeous shrubs and flowers. The food was presented well, tasted delicious and the menu had a vast array of choices. We even met the chef, Chris, when we were admiring his garden. We will absolutely return and have already told a bunch of friends about The Dimon Estate.

we arrived early and were seated right away. Our table was on the second floor. Had beet salad and stuffed clams (stacked a mile high and so delicious), steak and fish, cheesecake and bread pudding. The price was right as we went during LI restaurant week. Portions were generous. Lovely evening.

Went for restaurant week. Husband and I love baked clams and eat them whenever offered. Theirs was excellent and on the top of our list. The entrées are just as good. We plan on going often now for the baked clams!

We chose this restaurant for “restaurant week”. The menu choices were perfect. The baked clams were delicious. I had short ribs over polenta and it was amazing. I never had polenta before and I loved it in this dish.

Went for restaurant week. Fried Brie was delish, as was the Beet Salad. Flounder dinner with mashed potatoes was excellent with broccoli rabe, one of my favorites. No cheesecake left for dessert so was substituted with tiramisu. Was good but not as flavorful until you got to the bottom of the parfait glass. Beer and wine selections were nice. I had a Dunckle beer which was nice and cold and flavorful. We were seated in a little alcove overlooking the garden, quite beautiful. Quiet crowd in the restaurant overall. Nice to sit with family and be able to hold a conversation. Would go back on an ordinary night as the regular prices did not seem to overpriced, and the portions were very nice.

Made a 630pm reservation for 4 on Monday night of Restaurant Week. Honestly chose this restaurant because of the prix fixe menu choices. We arrived a little early and started with Jen in the bar who made great drink recommendations and was very friendly and attentive. We moved to our table and ordered one of each appetizer, baked stuff clams, baked brie, Ceasar salad and beet salad. We were pleased with all but found the clams to be tasty and moist but a little too smoky. Each of us then family styled our own meals of fried panko fluke, orreacheta bolognese, braised short rib and bell and evans 1/2 chicken. Everything was hot, delicious and plentiful. Service was excellent, we even got a visit by the chef. We look forward to returning again, maybe for happy hour and bar special food items. Enjoy!

We always enjoy dining at the Dimon Estate, and our dinner last night was another example of why. Nice room. Lovely staff, from greeting to service to departure. Excellent drinks. Tasty food, cooked perfectly and nicely plated. And another bonus . . . I'm on crutches right now, and there is totally easy access, with no stairs at all from the drop-off to the table. Looking forward to warmer weather and their lovely outdoor patio. We will be back!!

I always love this place. I was a little disappointed in my filet mignon. It was not a good piece. They offered me another piece or to order anything else on menu. They absolutely did right by me and i will be going back

The Dimon Estate is awesome. We started with the fried brie and roasted beet salad. We had the fluke and short ribs for entrees, and then split an affogato for dessert. Everything was absolutely outstanding. I highly recommend the fluke. One of the best meals I've had in a long time! Crystal, our server, was great. We were huge fans of The Jamesport Manor Inn for many years. It has changed a bit since becoming the Dimon Estate. The new look (which some people may prefer) includes white walls (they even painted over some of the gorgeous wood moulding), brown paper over the tablecloths, etc. More 'modern,' and a higher noise level. However, I think the food is the best it's ever been. We're looking forward to dining there again soon!
