Good was very good. Do wish they served bread with the meal. The service was not very good. Had to ask multiple times for things. The waitress told us if we wanted to order dessert we had to order now because the kitchen was going to close in ten minutes(we had 7:30 Sunday reservations) We were pleasant and laughed but were not at impressed with the service
We were very disappointed in our meal! Pasta was stuck together, very watery and had no flavor. No bread offered and no salt, pepper, parmesan that other tables had. Seafood with white sauce had very little butter and no lemon slice. So no way to add any flavor to the dish. The sauce was mostly water! Servers looked like they didn't want to be there and saw a group of 5 just hanging around talking and ignoring customers. Go to Mare instead!!!! 100 times better for Italian Seafood restaurant and around the same price. My husband had the red sauce with various seafood and his was good. I should have sent mine back to the kitchen but nobody seemed to care enough to ask why my plate was left mostly uneaten.
Not a great experience but would try again.
Server was excellent! Staff was friendly! Food was fabulous! We will definitely return! My husband & a friend shared the Fra Diavlo. Got serving for two. It could definitely have served 3, if not 4 ppl. So for $88 it was definitely worth it! I got the Black pasta(squid ink) aglio olio w/shrimp. Excellent! Definitely 2 meals out of it. Thank you Daily Catch!
Ladies weekend in Boston
First time for squid ink pasta (Aglio Olio), it was delicious.
A perfect blend of Italian/Tuscan Seafood. Memorable... cooked perfectly. Hot because it comes in the pan it was cooked in. Loved it! Highly recommend.
Lovely evening sitting in the courtyard outside . Our server was attentive and very helpful with explaining the menu and helping us decide on our order. The food was excellent and we will definitely be back!
Loved it as usual !
Melissa was amazing❤️🔥
Food was a B- at best. Only one of us had a dish we enjoyed. Had to ask server multiple times for things like water a bread (bread because the mussels that were supposed to be served will grilled bread were not and were otherwise flavorless)
Outdoor seating on side of the building was very nice. Raw bar was amazing. Grilled octopus was perfect. Prices very reasonable for location and fresh fish.
We've been going to TDC for 23 years to celebrate our wedding anniversary - that really says it all. This place has the best calamari in the world. The last two years we've enjoyed going to the waterfront location. We like being able to make a reservation and using our credit card to pay. We sat out front on the street side this year, and it wasn't as pleasant the ally location, but it wasn't too bad either. You don't go to TDC - here or on Hanover Street - for the ambiance. It's charming, service is good, but the food is the star. The prices are no bargain - $19 for a "large" order of fried calamari for example, and every one in our party except one finished their entrées, but I don't think that the prices are higher than any of the other North End restaurants.
There was a hair in my wine. The server was slow and not very observant. Was not offered bread.
The food was very good. We normally wouldn’t
Good was delicious. Service was average. Servers seemed more interested in chatting outside with each other than serving their tables. That was the only disappointment. I’d eat there again to see if it was just a fluke or consistent. Food was delicious!
The Daily Catch has the most incredible Monkfish Marsala and Black Pasta. Ambiance is fabulous and consistently outstanding food! It is a must for any Boston experience!
Had a great evening dining outdoors with friends. Excellent service accommodating us with all the swings in the weather. Good food. Good ambiance. Good fun What more could we ask for?
Made reservations online. Doesn’t have option to choose outdoor or indoor. Were seated outdoor when raining, totally got wet. End up…did take out
the best seafood pasta I ever had im my life
Nice Al Fresco dining and solid seafood over pasta options.
Absolutely outstanding! We loved our dinners. Everything was perfect. First choice for dinner in Boston
The food was great but it was really hot in the restaurant making it uncomfortable to eat the hot food especially when it’s 90 degrees outside.
Enjoyed dinner with the family while on a trip to Boston for college tours. The food was mixed, from pretty bad (soggy fried calamari) to absolutely delicious (black squid ink pasta with garlic, olive oil and ground calamari). I probably would have given me three stores but that this was so fantastic that I gave it an extra store. However in the land of squid, the calamari should certainly have been crispy.
Excellent food and drinks. The only complaint I have is that the calamari appetizer arrived after our entrees.
Server was extremely inattentive. Food was average for north end.
Great, fresh seafood. The black home made pasta was amazing. The monkfish marsala is not to be missed. The tuna was fresh and cooked to perfection.
Great ambiance, good food!
This was our first visit to the newer waterfront location and likely our last. (Have been to the other North End and Brookline locations several times and will be going there in the future.) It just doesn't have that small intimate feel that makes the others so amazing. I think it even made the food less appetizing. The staff was nice. The food is pricey, but I'm okay with that at the other locations.
Good food but not fantastic. Pasta vongole was too oily. Service was ok: waiter forgot about us a lot
Don’t bother. Food is average and it’s expensive. The service is very slow and do yourself a favor, check your bill. They ran out of scallops and they didn’t remove them or the soda that we ordered (that never came) from our bill. Overall, it was very disappointing especially since it came highly recommended.
Excellent service and food. The Sicilian sangria is to die for
We usually go the the one in Brookline. This was the first time we came to waterfront branch, the ambiance was stunning but the black noodle was no taste.
It was awesome!
Last night was a miss, been there many times before, just seemed robotic
Fantastic service and food! Oysters were some of the best we have ever had and pasta was amazing.
Love the one in Brookline the best. But it was nice that there was room outside here.
Too average for the price. Dirty tables. Chip french fries. Tartar sauce from the bottle.
Very slow and inattentive service made the experience un-enjoyable. Food was good otherwise.
