   This is my third trip to the Cutlery...have not been disappointed! Great service and incredible tasting food. I dined with a few friends of mine, both first time customers, they raved all night about the quality of the Porterhouse Steak, the roasted Brussel sprots and the truffle mash potatoes. We sat inside and the Bartender was our primary server, he was outstanding, never had to wait for anything and he was extremally attentive to our table...earned himself a 30% gratuity. The house Cab was on point with a full body tasty and good aroma. If you have not tried this Kaimuki Steakhouse... you are missing out, also, try the weekend, where the menu includes additional Special Items to order!

   Early dinner seated at the bar and received outstanding service from Jeremy. The Prosecco with hibiscus and the Paloma was onolicious. I highly recommend the Fire Roasted Bone Marrow (the birthday boy did a Bone Marrow Luge with Mezcal), Pulehu Tako, Crispy Brussel Sprouts and the Mushroom Medley. Too full to have dessert this time.    I was happy they were able to accommodate my request for prime rib on an off day. I felt the front of house is definitely behind the quality of the kitchen creations. If they manage to get on the same page this place will rock. In my opinion, it’s value/cost equation should be reevaluated by their management. I felt the service lacking below the price point and the food quality was great but still sub fine dining. I’ll try again in 6 months.

    It was what we expected, The Food, The Service, The The Overall Hype of The Restaurants Food, Service, Ambience, and The Chef’s Reputation of His Presentation of His Skills In His Preparation of The Menu’s Selection of Food Items.     Food was great! Had the Ny strip and the lamb both were amazing. The bone marrow was the reason for choosing this restaurant and it was worth it. Only thing I could say were the truffle mash potatoes were just empty wouldn’t recommend. We had the coconut mojito and hibiscus cocktail both were great. We had great help with the busser, server might’ve been busy but either way no complaints.

    We sat outside and it was a little noisy, but nice to be outdoors. Every dish we ate was amazing, especially the bone marrow appetizer and the duck fat fries. We appreciated the light-up menus. We would definitely eat here again.

    All I can say is WOW!! I was super nervous about dining here because it was off the beaten path and fairly new. It was AMAZING!! Only disappointment was they ran out of prime rib (we were also a party of 10) but the ribeyes were excellent. Portion sizes are HUGE - we took home several to go containers. I would recommend sharing. Service was wonderful and patio was lovely. If you are torn - take a chance and go - so worth the effort.

    Doggy friendly! Greatly appreciated the accommodation of our pet in outdoors seating area. This helped persuade our senior mom to join us otherwise she would have stayed home instead of dining out. Now she wants to bring her dog for his birthday in October. Thank you for the doggy steak plate. Food was delicious with good portion sizes.

    Second time there. Food is excellent, service, overall very good. The place is small , especially inside, but comfortable enough. Prices are reasonable. Plan to return soon. It is a combo barbershop/ restaurant. Their website says they open at 10am, but that refers to the barbershop. We got their before our 5pm reservation but thought we could get in early because of the 10am open time on their website. Found out they open at 5pm, so we hade to wait outside for about half an hour after an hour drive to get there. To the restaurant, please clarify the opening times. That little glitch did not impact our overall experience. Still a great place for a great dinner.

    Food is excellent, especially the T-Bone steak, french fries and mushrooms. Excellent taste in all three. Server (Aaron) was excellent as well. Will return again soon

    Family dinner out! Kinda pricey but big plates. Enough for leftover lunch or dinner, would actually share next time. Clams, pork chop, oxtail pasta so good. Yummy fries! Super nice waiter too.

    Fantastic new Steak House outside of Waikiki. Must try the smoked meat appetizer, bone marrow, lamb rack, and the fresh fish of the day. Delicious with a glass of wine or a Kona Brew beer. Definitely, make sure you have a reservation beforehand because the restaurant gets busy.

    The Cutlery is an excellent new addition to O`ahu's dining scene. Primarily meat entrees and wonderful sides. Don't miss the smoked meat appetizer its excellent. Portions are large and good value. Service was excellent both times we went there.

    The food was good but pricey. The steaks were so expensive that none of my group opted to try them. There were 5 of us and we paid $50 each including tip. Three of us didn’t drink so that price included just one beer and one glass of wine.

    Portions were generous, Steak was cooked perfectly. Rib eye was also tender, not bloody, cooked perfectly med rare. They also cut it so nicely for you!

    This restaurant is located in a rough neighborhood. Some of their tables are located in the barbershop next door… I wouldn’t pay the high menu prices for this ambiance.

    Interesting, tasty food that’s nicely done. Friendly service in a cool but relaxed atmosphere. The shock was the generous portion sizes of the ox tail, fresh catch, duck fat fries and corn. Everything tasted great and we took home ample leftovers.

    Delicious prime steaks, all grilled over kiawe wood. Great alternative to the more trendy H Y s steakhouse in Honolulu which also grills over kiawe. Sides are delicious and huge to share between at least two, possibly more. We’ll be back!

    Just found this spot while driving home one day. It’s a hidden gem. Service was great and food came out sequenced perfectly. The prime rib was on par with the best restaurants in town! A definite winner and I’ll be back!

    It was not a great experience. We sat outside where there’s street noise from cars and loud motorcycles/mopeds. Our server were not friendly .. no smiles, “stick in the mud”.. lol.. We asked for sprinkling water got Tonic water, Asked for ketchup, didn’t bring it until end of the meal, the food is mediocre. Wanted to order prime ribs but only served on Fri/Sat, So we ordered the ribeye instead. The ribeye steak was not good.. dried and chewy. The best of this restaurant is the side dishes.. They were all good. Wanted to celebrate birthday but not recognized at all but she mentioned table of 7 or more required 20% added.. Haha! that’s why she didn’t give us service because the tips already included..
