Some of the meals were great but the Sunday roasts were a disappointment. Obviously veg had been sitting around a while keeping warm

A lovely pub with character. Unfortunately out Sunday roasts were luke warm and the roast (not sure they were roasted) potatoes were hard. Very disappointing.

Went there, again, for an early Father's Day breakfast and had a great time with the range and quality of food on offer - thank you.

The only criticism we have is the Sunday roast beef was very stringy and difficult to cut. The risotto portion was too small for the price. The rest was fine. We wouldn't recommend the food I'm afraid but the ambience was great

I would recommend cricketers for the lovely environment and the good service. Pie was good but overpriced and fish and chips were good but mushy peas were inedible as they were very dry. Quality should be consistent to match the price!

It had been many years since we last visited The Cricketers, and although it bought back many happy memories we felt that it now had very little atmosphere. Overall we enjoyed our visit, the food was good but nothing special and a little over priced. The service however was excellent, our server was cheerful and on hand if we needed anything further, but then again the restaurant was very quite for a Saturday evening, most customers opting to sit outside, although they were just drinking and snaking, from what we could see.

We were pleased to see pies back on the menu - we had delicious chicken & ham in shortcrust pastry with excellent mashed potato, cabbage & Gravy

The food was lovely until one of two of the very many flies landed on my sons dinner and side. There were loads where we sat by the window I did start to mention as I got off the table to pay at the bar because I didn’t want to make a scene but the girl doing the bill seemed to ignore my comment. I left disappointed and would now not return or recommend unfortunately.

Having previously dined here 10 years ago was really looking forward to returning. Unfortunately everything has deteriorated. The starter was ok. The Sunday roast was lukewarm. The smart casual dress code was predominantly casual. No longer feels a special place. Based on our experience we wouldn’t recommend or return.
