** New to Open Table as of 1st April 2025 ** Nestled in the heart of the Norfolk countryside, The Cricketers n The Green is a multi award winning pub & restaurant with a growing reputation. We give chefs Jake Wragg and Richard Hart free rein to create dishes which delight guests from near and far. Allowing them to showcase their creativity and talent, the ever evolving menu swings with the seasons and uses local Norfolk produce from the myriad of farmers, fishermen and other producers on our rural doorstep.

The pub itself we describe as quintessentially English, set on the edge on an expansive village green in beautiful Aldborough. Don't be surprised to be watching the cricket when a group of Morris Dancers show up. Yes it happens!

Our aim was to create the next destination dining room in Norfolk, we believe we're getting there and very much look forward to greeting you soon. Best regards Kent & Julie.

                    What a fabulous evening! Wonderful food, great service and a brilliantly quirky atmosphere. Absolutely loved it!

                    Lovely Sunday roast. Choice of beef, pork, or lamb plus a veggie. Chose the pork which was excellent. Only suggestions for improvement are to add a poultry option, and invest in a coffee machine. Great service.

                    As always we enjoyed a delicious Sunday Roast at The Cricketers on the Green. Served by the friendliest of staff! We dined in the very comfortable and relaxed upstairs dining room and shared a starter of calamari (sooo good) followed by roast beef (my choice) and my husband had the 7 hour slow cooked lamb (delicious) Both roasts came with the most fabulous Yorkshire pudding and of course all the trimmings! Home made ice cream topped off our Easter Sunday perfectly! 👌

                    Wonderful Sunday roast as ever, and considering we were one of the last sittings, the staff were as chatty and welcoming as ever. You really get a sense that the entire team are passionate about what they do and that's rare these days. Lovely relaxed vibe too.

                    We had a lovely experience, made to feel so welcome. This was a gem of a place and I wish I lived closer. Food outstanding, good quality cooked exceptionally. Thank you and we will be back. Highly recommend 5 stars! Mel & Simon
