   Absolutely fantastic experience at The Coup! The menu is creative and packed with delicious plant-based options that even non-vegetarians will love. Every dish—from the gyoza and eggplant nigiri starters to the flavourful mains—was beautifully prepared and bursting with fresh, local ingredients. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the staff are friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable, nourishing meal in Calgary!

   The Coup's menu featured a variety of creative vegan dishes ranging from vegan sushi to tempeh shwarma to curried tofu with quinoa. We tried one of the sushi rolls and it was next-level delicious by any standard. Indeed, the portion size made it nearly a meal in itself. Among the best vegan sushi we've ever had. Our main dishes were equally delicious, with equally generous portion sizes, and we were so full we had no room left for the appealing dessert menu, which featured avocado chocolate cake when we visited. And we can't say enough about our server, Veronica, who was beyond Canadian in her attentiveness and charm. She made our dinner experience that much more special.

   We had flavourful, well presented vegan dishes. One of the best places to dine for vegan and vegetarian food.

   Good food/flavours, the potatoes were piping hot and perfectly spiced but the eggs and hollandaise sauce was cold and the bread very difficult to cut through. Timing in the kitchen was obviously way off. Our server was abrupt-rude. We wanted coffee and a cocktail and he didn’t give us an opportunity to ask, nor did he ask if we’d like a drink other than water.

   I have not been to The Coop in years and their food is so delicious. They have creative cocktails and great dishes to share. Billy was wonderful and ensured we were out the door in time for our event after.

   Fabulous food, service, and nice atmosphere. It was our first time there to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. Although she’s the only vegetarian out of the group, we all enjoyed the flavourful food. Highly recommend!

   The Coup is a hidden gem, even after all these years. As a non-vegetarian I am always pleased with their unique culinary and flavourful creations. The service is excellent and ambience relaxing. If you take advantage of the specials the value return for the experience will leave you feeling like you stole something; truly.
