Taking its distinct taste inspirations mainly from Southeastern Anatolia Region, The Counter enriches its presentation and atmosphere with the cultural heritage of the Balkans.

Fire, both literally and figuratively, is at the heart of what we do here. Its igniting power fuels our passion and nurtures us with inspiration.

With this passion, The Counter seeks and finds the best artisans, be it a butcher, a blacksmith, or a potter, who are amorously committed to their crafts. It then brings the best of these crafts and techniques from their local ateliers to The Counter’s London location.

    For friends had lunch at The Counter on Sat 7 June. The food was very tasty and I would highly recommend. The restaurant is well presented and decorated, service was very good, and the food and drinks both good value for money. I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food was and made a point of complimenting the chefs.

    Nice restaurant. Adana kebab was a little bland. We asked for chilli and garlic sauce, they only have bottled chilli sauce and gave this when we were almost finished with the meal. Food in general wasn’t great

    We have been to The Counter - Notting Hill few times and have had a wonderful time but yesterday, we were disappointed regarding the food. It wasn't that good. The service was fantastic.

    Food was delicious as always. The ambience is buzzing. Service was very good. Love this authentic restaurant

    Great restaurant. Delicious and interesting food. Really lovely service - they couldn’t have been more helpful. We had someone with a food allergy in our party and they were particularly attentive.

    The service and the food here were incredible! It was our best meal in London and I can’t rave about it enough. The staff was friendly and helpful and the wine was delicious.
