   This hotel is absolutely magnificent. I love the old charm. There is so much untapped potential though. It seems that people have gotten lazy. The servers shirt was filthy. The food was good but you could tell that they had gotten complacent; they were used to making the same thing over and over. The shrimp and grits was meh. There was no flavor in the grits. The dishes were too cream heavy. And they rely too heavily on bottled salad dressings. Great potential but right now I would say that it’s not worth the money.

   What can I say..... This place has always been so special to me. It was my quintessential hangout in college. A familiarity that felt like you were having drinks in your own living room.

   Ate here for Sunday Brunch for Father's day. We were seated on the front patio, where there was a jazz guitarist playing music at just the right volume. Every so often, a streetcar would rumble by, which is one of the most New Orleans-y conversation interrupters possible. Besides the overly hot day, the ambiance was wonderful. Food was pretty good, nothing exceptional, but for around $50 per person for a 4 course pre fixe with bottomless mimosas, it was well worth it. Would definitely go for Sunday brunch again with a group visiting in town.

   Went for Sunday brunch. Such an amazing atmosphere with great food and old school New Orleans ambiance. Highly recommend!

    One of the worst meals I’ve eaten in New Orleans. Very poor quality food costing $50 for Easter Brunch.
