The Coast Grill & Bar
- Surfaces sanitized between seatings
- Common areas deep cleaned daily
- Sanitizer or wipes provided for customers
- Sick staff prohibited in the workplace
So disappointing. Service was pleasant but far from professional. An error was made in describing a dish which was ordered, we were told that the error was being corrected in the kitchen for us and then no new food appeared. We didn't complain at that time because the food itself was truly awful. Just a completely poor experience.
Hamburger was the only good meal
Fish and chips not tasty at all
Steak and shrimp fajita. Steak was good shrimp was terrible
Fresh Oysters were good but small
Fried oysters were good.
Probably would not go back. Gave it a chance but

Don't let this place fouls you! Food is outstanding even for bar food! The service was great, the staff is so friendly and helpful. Kudos to them! Highly recommended place to have fun and enjoy a very good food with reasonable prices.
I was so happy when I saw that The Coast Grill had reopened under new management after closing due to the pandemic because we loved this place!
Although our food was delicious we felt extremely rushed. We got seated at 6:25 and were walking back to our car at 7:25! We got our drinks & appetizers within minutes of each other which was ok but then our dinners were brought out when we had basically just started enjoying our appetizers. We finished the apps quickly so our dinners wouldn't get cold. I felt our dining experience was completely cheated! We didn't even order dessert because we were so turned off at this point. I gave my "constructive criticism " to an employee who did apologize. I just hope it was shared with the right person because I sincerely want this place to thrive.
Dinner menu more like a lunch menu. Some ingredient pairings on plates questionable but that’s up to individual tastes. Bartender needs to learn basic mixology skills- mojitos are not that difficult to make- shouldn’t taste like kamikaze shots…wait staff-excellent, hard working trying to make up for other shortcomings
Good casual place, food was good but super salty
Woman serving at bar did her best to make everyone tense and miserable
Just awful. Don’t go here. It’s a shame that it has new owners and the food, service, and restaurant is terrible. This is not worth the trip.
Slow dive w/oily food
Food (Swordfish) was seriously under cooked and had to be sent back. Table next to me had same problem. When bill arrived there was a drink on it that we did not order. Will not be returning.
I think kinks need to get worked out. I had sea scallops, too much dressing on salad and scallops were salty for my tastes
I think this restaurant is under new management. I wanted to ask our waiter about it, but this was difficult since we barely saw either of the two waiters working in the restaurant. We were very hungry and sat at an empty table for 30 minutes till we got our soup and salad and another 30 minutes till we got our main courses. When the waiters appeared, they apologized profusely but that didn't translate into better service. They said it was the kitchen's fault. I don't know, it was pretty hard to get a waiter's attention. A little bread and salsa when we sat down would have helped. Even my mother's glass of wine took 2 waiters and 20 minutes! The chef came out to apologize and gave us a complimentary dessert to take home (by this time we had been there 2 hours! I took a while to get the check too.). The food is very good, but the service needs a lot of improvement before we'd go here again.
Service staff is young and still learning. One dish was over salted to the point it was sent back.
The food was good but came out too quickly. We were still eating our appetizers when our entrees arrived. We will go back though to try again. Casual atmosphere and good food and drink menu.
Just open 2 weeks ago. Very noisy and waiters were all over the place. Placed my order only to have same waiter come back and ask to place and order. The menu was not the same as the web site had. There were three items crossed off the menu that was give to me.
My review of The Coast Grill
In 1849, French writer Jean-Baptiste Alphonse Karr wrote “plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose “ – the more things change, the more they stay the same.
The new owners cleaned up the restaurant but it remains the same old restaurant:
Limited menu - fish items complicated preparation
No plain grilled fish
Unprofessional wait staff
Mediocre food ( at best)
good place worth a return visit; did well for a "soft opening" don't them me how many characters to write if you want my review Open Table!
