We really enjoy taking guests to The Club for dinner. Unfortunately, Saturday night, April 23rd was a mistake. We love the energy at the pool, tiki bar and Club but the music was way too loud. Even though we were on the corner of the Terrace we could hardly hear each other talking. In the future I will pay more attention to the music being provided before making a reservation. My husband’s pancakes were not very warm. After a wait they brought out freshly made pancakes that were delicious. My avocado toast was not real warm but I was starving so I ate it.

Sometimes I want substitutes for items on the menu like Turkey bacon they did not have this also I don't think that the menu has been updated yet to embrace a good Sunday brunch! The servers and ambience as always was very comforting!

We had to make a reservation for 5 pm , they said 5:30 was full. When we arrived we were seated promptly but it took over 5 minutes for someone to come to our table( which was about 10 steps from the waiters station). Food was average to day the best. Tacos had no flavor. Menu was the tiki menu since it was a Tuesday night. We pay too much in dues to have such a poorly ran restaurant. Since Troon took over they try to make things too fancy and charge outrageous prices. Not good value , that’s why people go elsewhere. And then we as condo owners have to subsidize the restaurant! This new restaurant is working. Just have the tiki bar and outside tables and have a bar menu and do that food well. People might eat there then.

The food was not good. The corned beef was very tough. The cabbage and carrots were more than ala dente. The entrees are never good. This year, even the prime rib is tough. Is it prime? People I have talked to are having drinks and eating elsewhere. I’ve been here for 16 years and we haven’t had a good chef since Troon took over. Sorry for such a bad review, but many more people feel the same way.

I’ve always enjoyed the prime rib at The Dunes and was happy to see that it was now on Wednesday s menus as well as Friday and Saturday. However, last night myself and my 2 guests were extremely dissatisfied and disappointed with the quality of the meat - tough & chewy. The price has gone up and the quality has gone down as well as menu selections. Not a good combination if they expect repeat customers

Menu is far too limited. Can’t even get a hamburger . We spent $11M to build a new facility with a kitchen that was huge along with a tiki kitchen for short order food. What a waste of money. You offer 4 entrees — none of which were what we wanted. You need to be customer driven. Don’t ask the customers to comply with what works best for you. Provide the customers with what they want.

We were there during Happy Hour and did not receive happy hour prices, even though I mentioned it to our server. The tuna poke bowl was not great. The pizza was undercooked. My salad with peaches and salmon was very good. Kind of a mixed bag of experiences on Friday night. The music was far too loud and we won't be sitting anywhere near the musician in the future (...even though he did a great job with his singing and playing the guitar). It was so loud in fact that we all really struggled to have a conversation. So all in all some positives and negatives. I am irritated that the tip and the taxes are not taken out of the 1,000 dollar yearly minimum. Hope that changes in the future.

Blackened Mahi tacos much too spicy for my taste. My wife felt that the chicken club was not nearly as good as usual. Friend’s chicken salad portion was skimpy. Her husband liked his burger. Our server was very pleasant, but the drinks and food were exceedingly slow coming out, especially considering that most of the tables were empty.

We were told the kitchen was closing in 10-15 mins after we sat down. We were served Ahi Tuna that was grey...it was warm...spoiled. I was very disappointed and disgusted with the lack of service or care. Why were we able to make an 8:30 reservation if the kitchen was closing.

First, the hostess seems not to notice that I wrote in the notes we wanted to be close to the music for our RVSPS bc they sat us inside we’ve all been there instead of back pedaling & blaming it on a large party which there was only 1 8 top. The dinner was tasty but for $29 it was not worth it. We like our club and generally we’re proud of it but 2 bad experiences in a row has soured us. This time at least we didn’t have guests.
