   Food is delicious and the accompanying water view is beautiful. Oysters were fresh and delicious. My wife’s fish and my steak along with the sides were prepared perfectly. This time, the service was horrible. Place was clearly understaffed on the waitstaff department. Waited 10 minutes for water (manager poured it and took our drink order). Waitress showed up eventually so we put in our complete order in fear she would not show up again. Requested a 2nd cocktail from the busboy, which he conveyed to someone because it did show up. Hopefully it was just an off night. I’ll go back again but at this price point you need to get it right!

   First-time diner. Wonderful experience. Top-notch service. The menu was spectacular, and it really had me wanting to try some of everything. The drinks and oysters were superb. I loved the experience so much that I'll be dining again with my wife back-to-back Saturdays.

   Our waiter's name was Michelle, and she was excellent. She helped with menu recommendations, and she was quite attentive during our entire visit. It was our first visit at the Choptank, and we will definitely returning for another visit!

   Fabulous location up on the deck, wonderful service, beautiful fresh clean oysters. That’s where the compliments end. The food is just average. Mounds of canned corn in the Chesapeake Chopped Salad? Really? Not acceptable at your price point. Being able to watch the boats while you eat can only make up for so much.

   Our server, Taylor was friendly, engaging, & knowledgeable. Kudos to Taylor. Service was excellent. Food was delivered in a timely manner & very good. Highly recommend. The 3 of us had a positive experience.

    It's an outstanding venue and we've enjoyed previous outings here. However, this evening the Rockfish and Brussels sprouts were extremely over cooked and the waitress was the worst! It took her forever just to get us the most basic items,initial drinks,plates, salt & pepper, etc. She would consistently pass by our table and refuse to even make eye contact, much less ask if we needed anything. Every time we did need something we had to go through the efforts of flagging her down and then, were made to feel as though we were bothering her. We actually made the mistake of asking her to take one simple picture, Wow...who knew that would be considered such a major imposition and she refused stating it was more important for her to remove plates from the table. We will have to strongly consider if going back to this establishment is worth it.
