Overall, I had a good experience when visiting The Choptank. Food was delicious, but slightly over priced, and my wine glass was dirty when I received it. The restaurant was pretty loud, but you could still carry on a conversation just fine. I would come back.

We loved eating at the Choptank while visiting Annapolis. We ate there twice. The first time we got to sit in the rooftop dining area with a gorgeous view of Annapolis. On our second visit, which was on a Thursday, it was very busy and we had to wait 20 minutes for a table upstairs despite having had reservations. The food was still good, but it was very loud and our waiter seemed to have too many tables to give us much attention. All in all, we had a good experience and will definitely be back.

We visited The Choptank in mid-afternoon when it was moderately busy (3:15p reservation) and had a great meal with terrific service on the upper deck of a beautiful sunny day. The food, while pricey, was perfectly prepared and presented (oysters on the half shell, tuna tartare, pan-seared scallops and pan-seared sea bass). The service was top notch, prompt without being rushed or intrusive. Definitely on my list for a return visit.

Food was average, nothing special. The location was wonderful next to the water and we had a nice day so the windows were open which was really nice. I had the fried chicken and the breading was very thick and hard. My daughter had a NY Strip and it was okay. We added on the rock shrimp scampi and it was not enjoyable at all. The crab dip was very greasy and was just okay. Our server was either new or maybe just didn’t like his job. I don’t see me returning with so many other good options in Annapolis.

Really enjoyed my time. It is a place on the waterfront with many people having a great time. Love the scene, loved the service and the food was absolutely delicious? I went off of the server’s favorites and seasonal options and everything was cooked to perfection. I will be back!

Great patio on the water. Had the lobster roll it was delicious. Great service. Make reservations, the are always packed.

My wife and I had an excellent experience at the Choptank. We were especially impressed by how friendly and accommodating the entire staff were doing our visit there for lunch. I had the catfish sandwich, and my wife had the burger and both were excellent. But best of all was their cream of crab soup. Definitely the best I’ve ever had anywhere! We sat on the upper deck and the views were wonderful! We will definitely return on our next visit to Annapolis.

Fresh and deliciously prepared seafood. The seafood tower was phenomenal and the coconut lemongrass mussels were unique and just amazing! We will definitely be back!
