We were early to our reservation by 10mins. The host told us to come back on time and then escorted us outside instead of offering a seat at the bar or anything. Once we were seated ordered within 15 mins. It then took 45mins to receive our apps, and then another 30mins for our food. The rolls were stale. The apps were okay- the shrimp cocktail sauce was watery ketchup. My boyfriend had the lamb chops which he said were good. I ordered the fillet mignon. It was awful. I am not a picky eater- this was a choice cut of meat at best that was beat into oblivion to make it “tender”. There was zero seasoning or searing. It was as if it was boiled. Also, it was cold. Honestly the worst looking and tasting piece of meat I’ve ever seen. While we were there 3 servers dropped plates and meals, shattering glassware all over. One table had food spilled all over them. There was not one good thing about this meal.

I never write reviews but the Chophouse surpassed our expectations last night. Food was reasonably priced, outstanding quality and expertly plated. I expected meats to be cooked well and they did not disappoint. But it’s surprising to find a steakhouse with amazing sides and gourmet desserts too. Each side dish bursted with freshness and flavor. Save room for it but dessert is not to be missed. The service was also good. I will be back the next time on the island.

Very slow service.had to wait 25-30 minutes to place drink order and then another 20 min to get served. Another 15 min to order. Finally got escargot and it was cold. Wife ordered filet medium and in came like a piece of charcoal-way over done. I ordered churasco steak medium and it was also way overcooked. Overall, worst meal we’ve ever had in aruba. At least manager took meals of bill, but still had to pay for cold appetizer and drinks. Overall, terrible meal

The lobster thermador was the best lobster dish I've ever had. And Harold, our server, was excellent, knowledgeable, and skilled. His table-side preparation of the Caesar salad was a delight.

All of our entrees (3 people) were overcooked and dried out. Tasted reheated. Tomahawk pork chop was really a bone n chop with a small rib bone (maybe 2”). Needed a knife to cut the grouper. Chicken dried out. Inedible. Caesar salad dressing bland. Onion soup bland. Very light wine pours. Management did credit us for the chicken and took 20% off the remainder but that’s not the point. We expected a good meal like we used to get when it was French’s Steakhouse. Food came through the lobby as if it was prepared at Ike’s.

Stay away from this establishment. We were a party of three and I had ordered short ribs . The entree was frozen ice cold when I cut through it. Seriously I was shocked that it could have left the kitchen -they must have microwaved the meat poured sauce on it and sent it out. I angrily spoke to the manager and he was shocked also took it back and we never saw him again until we exited. Never again.

What a way to celebrate 50 years of marriage, in a resort/Resturant we had our honeymoon at! Food and service were amazing! They ending giving my wife and I A tiramisu cake with a sparkler on it!! Thank you manchebo beach resort!

Incredible ambience. We are not sure what happened with our dinner but once our server took our order we never saw him again. We were ready for a relaxing meal, though when our main dish still wasn’t delivered at 30 minutes we started to get concerned. We think our server didn’t put in our order. Go early and hit the bar outside the restaurant first! Try the Lychee martini! We will try it next year, just hoping they have it figured out.

We dined here in 2022 and the meal was outstanding! Our food this year 2023, three of us with filet mignon were over cooked with a shoe leather texture. The pasta dish the fourth person in our party ate had no flavor. The ice cream served with desert was melted and the apple crumble was more a mush crumble. One positive the Caeser salad prepared at our table was outstanding. We brought our friends, who had never been here, bragging about how good the food was last year and we were all disappointed

Decided to try Chophouse from recommendations that were on Facebook. We also had friends who went there last week. They bragged about the table side Caesar salad. I ordered it, but it was delivered in a plate at the table. Very disappointed. My wife and I both ordered the filet. It was tough and tasteless. The only good thing I could say was the service was very good. I’ll never go again. There are too many other good restaurants in Aruba.

The Chophouse at Manchebo Beach Resort is phenomenal, in service and in food! Manchebo is the ONLY place I want to stay for relaxation and enjoyment on Aruba’s exotic island. The restaurants they have at the resort ate the best cuisine and impeccable service. I had the T-Bone with asparagus, my husband had the ribeye, and both were tender, juicy and flavored! I was celebrating my birthday, and of course they rolled out the red carpet treatment with a table adorned with a beautiful table scarf, heart-shaped centerpiece mirror, and a beautiful red rose flower! The ambiance was sooooo romantic to add to the occasion. Thank you for making my stay well worth it. I look forward to my return.

Atmosphere was wonderful and romantic, nice music being played. Waitress was nice, drinks were good. The food left a lot to be desired, bland and not served hot. I think they were just having an off night, no bread available. Would try again though!

This is a must-visit. We are regulars here and they never disappoint. The service is always outstanding. Our server Harold is great, he can really explain the food and the drinks and is very friendly and always brimming with enthusiasm and energy.

Leuk en sfeervol restaurant. Goed eten en vriendelijke bediening. Glas wijn mag ter plekke worden ingeschonken en niet al in het glas zijn. Dat hoort bij dit soort restaurant wel bij.

The food was fabulous! If you are looking for a fancier restaurant that has amazing food this is the place to go. I had the Filet Mignon with the mushroom sauce the the risotto and I wanted seconds it was so good. The Filet basically melted in my mouth. I would 1000x's recommend The Chophouse to anyone.

We have dined at Chophouse every year. As a matter of fact, we dined there on July 29th. The food, service, and ambiance were 5 stars. We dined on August 9th and did not find this to be the same quality.

I spent a lot of time asking about steak preparation and what to order. I ordered a steak based on waiters recommendation. My wife and I both ordered It and it was terrible, and no one ever came to the table to ask how our meal was. Even cleaning off the table you could clearly see the amount of steak left on the plates and nobody asked if everything was okay on top of that the mashed potatoes were ice cold. I asked for the bill multiple times and it was delayed and they brought us over a complimentary anniversary dessert which at that point I was so disgusted with the mail and service I did not even have any. If they knew it was our anniversary and a special night the least they could have done is followed up and asked us how our meal was during or after. I had high hopes with this place as it was referred by many people. I would rather go get a burger at a different restaurant. What a pricey let down and waste of time.
