The Chef's Table is the best restaurant in this area, hands down. We dine there at least once a week. The food, service and staff are excellent. Mitch, the head chef comes up with the most creative dishes imaginable. The menu changes daily. It is a very small restaurant and reservations are a must. Don't even try to go there without one or you will most likely be turned away.

this place passes itself off as fine dining. I beg to differ. We made our reservation the requisite 2 months in advance. When we arrived, the bar was half full and no one to greet us. After finishing his conversation, the bartender inquired as to what he could do for us. Upon being told we had dinner reservations, he directed us to a table in the bar explaining the restaurant does not open until 5:30. Fair enough. The bar is stocked nearly entirely with IPA's & double IPA's. So be aware of that. I did find something suitable for a cocktail and all was well. The dinner menu is very skinny with nearly everything having the dreaded "kick" to it whether needed or not. The lone exception being a meager 5 oz. filet mignon. My wife ordered it & loved it but 5 ounces? That's ten bites of an entree. I ordered the carbonara and it was so spicy it was ruined and I did not detect a single bit of bacon.
Seriously, I'd take a pass on this place. It's in a strip mall, the room is long & narrow and you are not allowed to sit in the (small) main dining area unless your party is larger than 2. We were seated in the hallway and I am not kidding.

This was one of the more unpretentious nice dinners I've had, and I mean that with high compliments! The waiters wore very personable and wore shorts, the atmosphere was fun and lively, and the food was delicious without being fussy. 3 of 4 of us had the fried chicken, which is on the menu at all times, and which everyone said was very good. I had potato-crusted sea bass in a curried creamed corn with sausage - the fusion of flavors was amazing - it was one of the best meals I've eaten in a long time. I have a gluten restriction and they worked around this really well. Nice variety of beers and wines by the glass. I've waited a long time to get a reservation here, and am already looking forward to going back!

I have been here twice and have been very pleased both times. The food is thoughtfully and expertly prepared using fresh and local sources, they offer a nice range of options, the cocktails and desserts are delicious, the ambience is fun and the staff went out of their way to make sure all of our needs were met.
