Locally owned and operated for over thirty years, the Chart Room Restaurant offers an array of fresh seafood, steaks and more. Try the Macadamia Nut Crusted Halibut while enjoying the expansive views of Frenchman's Bay in Hulls Cove. Nestled along the water's edge just two miles from the heart of Bar Harbor, the Chart Room is a classic Maine seafood dining experience that is a favorite of visitors and locals alike! With a full bar, plenty of outdoor seating, cozy tables for two as well as space for your large group gathering, the Chart Room has it all. Enjoy local oysters and cocktails while seated at our new pier, or dine inside on a 12oz prime rib while overlooking the changing tide. We take a limited amount of reservations so that way walk in guests are still able to join us. Our last lunch and dinner of the season will be on October 27th.

Made a reservation for just before closing. Service was very attentive and rapid. Bread bowl has delicious butters. We had a steak that was flavorful but undercooked. The fish and chips was excellent. Lazy lobster was incredible. The swordfish was so-so. Baked potatoes were dry but hot, so butter melted easily.

Our outdoor table had a great view. Loved seeing the ducks and gulls. Some patrons enjoyed walking on the beach. And the food was terrific!

Our waiter was great - very attentive. We had the Chipotle burger which I heard over and over was the highlight of the trip for the non seafood lover among us. The Bouillabaisse was very good as well. It was a rainy evening so we didn’t get much view but I’d like to go back on a sunny day- the view looked pretty.

Nice view. I had the boiled lobster dinner which was good. My husband’s seafood linguini was just ok. We ate inside because it was chilly, but when the weather is good, the location right near the water is fabulous.

We dined outside, alone as everyone else chose indoors, it was magical. The food was excellent lazy lobster and halibut, excellent service just an all around great evening!

Nice setting for lunch, we had good service inside. Disappointed in the fried shrimp, it seemed frozen with not a very good batter.

Food was outstanding!! We had the char broiled scallops!! They melted in your mouth. Pricey but so worth it! Service could use some improvements/organization. We arrived at 4:30 for happy hour 4-5 pm thinking we could get a quick drink before our reservations at 5ish. Happy hour is only served at the bar & pier. Well, the bar was full (10 or 12 seats) & the pier was outside. We mentioned that we had reservations at 5ish but wanted happy hour drinks. They said they could seat us at our table for our reservation at that time (4:30). However, they couldn't give us the happy hour prices on drinks. Well, we decided to sit on the pier .....a little chilly. We felt bad that a young girl waitress had to come out, but she was outstanding!! Her service was the best!! If they are going to offer happy hour they should offer more seating or at least serve us at our table since we had a reservation. We will go back for the food

Chart House was absolutely amazing. French onion soup, Stuffed Haddock and Halibut dishes were wonderful. Definitely recommend!!
