   Our first visit was Tuesday evening hosting a friend from SoCal. I booked the reservation after seeing a spot about it on Fox8. Originally booked via OpenTable for 8pm we were able to shift without issue to 6:30pm. The overall vibe seems to be chic modern. We sat and our a person came up and asked about water. After ordering we found out he was our waiter, Joey. Joey had a relaxed demeanor during our visit. We looked through the drink menu and found out that some of their cocktails were made in advance bulk. After determining which ones were not, we made our beverage order. Bread service arrived. It was rustic bread with an olive oil mixture. Barely enough mixture for the bread provided. We ordered a charcuterie with reviewing the menu. We were surprised there were no gluten free bread or crackers available for the charcuterie. We ended up ordering a mix of appetizers for our dinner and their Rustic Pizza Margherita. The appetizers included Mussels, Caesar Salad, Lobster Bisque, and a Caesar Salad with a Grilled Chicken Breast. My wife and a split the Caesar. Her Rustic Pizza was indeed very rustic, perhaps too rustic. I thought the Caesar Salad was too light on the dressing and my wife actually asked for more dressing. My Mussels were delicious! A definite do over. Our friend really enjoyed the Lobster Bisque and her Caesar with Grilled Chicken. We ordered another round of adult beverages, wine and Knob Creek Manhattans. The Manhattans were very tasty! For the prices I was expecting something along the lines of The Capital Grille, it was actually less. Perhaps it was because it was Tuesday? Not sure. We might stop in again to find out but there are a lot of nice places to try in Cleveland.

   So most importantly, we would definitely go back. The food was very good and a few of the selections from our group were outstanding (don't you dare pass on the Bacon Steak appetizer). My only concern was the service. It was not horrible and our server was very helpful, nice, and entertaining . . . when we could find him. Between laying down our menus and ordering our drinks, it was 20 minutes. Drinks were often times not refilled until we searched someone down to help us and I don't recall once when the server came to check on us without a verbal cue or hand signal. The situation would be understandable if the restaurant was super busy, but by the end of the evening, we were his only table.

   Restaurant was beautiful and service was great. Espresso Martini was one of the smoothest I’ve ever had. Food was overall tasty, however my husband felt that he’s had better steak elsewhere for less money. The house made pasta and the gelato were both very good.

   Service could have been better in some aspects. Drinks went empty and wrong food brought to the table for breakfast. When you're paying this much things should be perfect. Great food, but out of things on the menu such as broccolini and wheat toast!! Hoping for a better experience when we return.

   The food was delicious. I actually got the Chef's special. Which was veal with the bone in. This meat was so tender. My date had the 16 Oz ribeye. Appetizers we selected the shrimp cocktail. 3 large jumbo shrimps.

   It was my husband's 48th birthday and we had such a wonderful time period I was quite impressed with the ambience of the place and the food was so tasty . My husband ordered the biggest juiciest Steak I've ever seen.

    Went to brunch with the kids before the Disney Immersive Experience. We had a great experience, the menu was very kid friendly. They were very accommodating of our time knowing we needed to leave by a certain time to make our ticket time.

    Had a wonderful evening with friends at Centro. Our table was seated by the service staff entrance/kitchen which wasn't ideal as it took away the beauty of the space. Overall was a great time and food was delicious.

    My dad has physical limitations. The wait staff was awesome in making us comfortable and bringing food at just the right pace. He had a great night - doesn’t get out very often - and felt 100% special. Thank you!

    Wonderful time at The Centro. Seating spacing is gracious as was the service. Food was excellent and even arrived hot. Duly impressed and would return! Only note is that menu might be even better with a few more healthy alternatives. That said, overall, an excellent dining experience.

    A truly awesome dining experience for a very special birthday. The veal Parmesan was delicious and the pasta was flavorful. I would like to recognize and thank our waiter Willam . I attempted to order a non alcoholic beer and the restaurant did carry same . William took the initiative to seek out a n/a beer from a local store and served me same midway through the dinner . This is truly customer service beyond expectations! Well done William ! You made my birthday even more special. We definitely will return

    Simply wonderful! The atmosphere was great, the service was wonderful and the food was amazing. Parking was simple as well. This is the perfect place to go if you want to splurge on an intimate date.

    Food was great but they put us in a “private room” which was literally a hotel hallway. It was very odd and not finished at all. I was super upset since I had the reservation booked for Valentines Day a month in advance. Seems like they overbooked. Food was good but we’re big atmosphere people so that killed the experience.

    Joey, our server was excellent, and I appreciate the chef walking to the tables. The food, while super yummy, felt majorly overpriced for what it was. $200+ for two people — a soup, salad, two entree and one glass of wine. That’s a lot for a restaurant that isn’t quite fine dining by my standards. That said, it was enjoyable, the atmosphere was nice, and the service was top tier. I’ve actually never had service this wonderful at any restaurant I ever been to.

    Three of us came here for dinner after a show at Playhouse Square. The atmosphere was wonderful and everyone was very friendly. The wine that was recommended fit our group perfectly. Jonathan was our server and he was top notch! He recommended the braised short rib for dinner and they were melt-in-your-mouth-delicious! I'll definitely be returning!

    Quality of food was exceptional, though more expensive than we expected. Portions were also exceptionally large - shareable, really. The truffle cream pasta was very good. Service was ok - couple of minor miscues, but solid. The atmosphere was ok - nothing special. To us, it seemed to have the same layout, appointments and feel as Adega.

    Food was stellar and I watched the staff go above and beyond for different tables. Food, to die for, and the drinks were perfect. We saw a show at the Alex theater and the manager showed us how to get there and recommended the different bars for afterwards. We look forward to going back

    I wanted a place close to the theater district. It is a short 4 block walk right down Euclid Ave. very convenient. The restaurant is in the Metropolitan at the 9 hotel. Nice decor and ambiance. Service was quite good. Food was good but not great and meals are $40-60. It worked well for our needs and overall we had a good time.

    Service was very good, attentive and friendly. But, the food was not good, especially for the price. Chicken Piccata was ridiculously over cooked and swimming in sauce. Asparagus side was limp, mostly inedible. For $38 it should be the best Chicken Piccata dish ever but it was far from that and the chef should be embarrassed. My wife had the pizza special which was burned. How does a restaurant featuring pizza burn it? Overall, Centro was a big disappointment. So much promise in a great downtown setting with good service, but the food doesn’t cut it.

    Like the new atmosphere definitely paying for the new look. Also reflective in wine prices but we are in”Downtown “ but geez this isn’t NYC 3x up charge on retail price of bottles- 12$ for a side 5$ extra for any accompaniment for 60$ 8oz steak! That said the Steak we had was excellent the waiter Chad did a great job Bar makes a good cocktail We would go back for Special occasion but not as regular for pre theater

    Our experience was not good at all. The wine was really not good, the food was mediocre at best, the service was horrendous. The only positive was that the manager was trying his absolute hardest to save the sinking ship, but to no avail. Not having a single vintage year printed on the wine list at all was the first red flag, we should have ran.

    The Chilean Sea Bass at The Centro was the best we have had anywhere, and we order it quite frequently when we go out to dinner. The lobster butter is an excellent add to the overall taste. Thanks to our server Lisa for taking very good care of us.

    Our first visit to Centro at this new location. We had been to the former restaurant here, Adega, a couple of times. Centro has completely renovated the interior and it’s more open, although a tad loud. Our server, Kelly, was outstanding—a true professional!! She had a lot of tables to cover but didn’t miss a beat. It was also nice to see the manager assisting where needed. I had the Bolognese which was just perfect, especially paired with a nice amarone. We were dining before attending the Nat Geo Live event at Playhouse Square and this worked out so well Centro may become our go to restaurant when attending other Playhouse Square events.

    The new Centro was just perfect! The service was fantastic. Jay was our server and the manager was great also. Food was delicious. We all loved our entrees from the short ribs and Chilean Sea Bass to Chicken Piccata and shrimp. Very enjoyable dinner. They also took a Polaroid picture of us as a souvenir. Also it’s a perfect spot before a show also at Playhouse or any event downtown. Plus it’s at The 9 and you can have a drink before or after dinner at the awesome and legendary VAULT bar in the basement. One of the coolest spots in Cleveland.
