At the Cartford Inn, we offer a brand of hospitality that is truly unique, hallmarked by an award-winning restaurant, boutique hotel, delicatessen and art gallery. Our location is enviable, with guests able to enjoy panoramic views of the Ribble Valley and Fylde countryside whilst dining. Our décor is quirky and eclectic, in keeping with our building’s 17th century heritage, but with a modernist twist.

Of course the main attraction is our 2-Rosette winning, Michelin recommended restaurant. Run by head chef Chris Bury, we offer the finest quality food without the fuss, in an atmosphere that is warm and unpretentious. Expect a discernible French influence, evidenced by our renowned French onion soup – a dish that is well worth a visit in its own right.

Top quality food with great service in a well designed and delivered setting. The quality of the vision for the Inn comes through and this is being delivered. Would definitely recommend a visit

As always we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. Excellent value for food with a view. The seafood plate was full of marinated fish and seafood and never fails to disappoint. My husband had the oxtail suet pudding which was full of tender tasty meat. Delicious!

What a fantastic experience, the location is beautiful, the rooms are eclectic and very comfortable and both dinner and breakfast were delicious. You can't fault the attention to detail such as the black pudding from Bury Market for breakfast. I'm now looking for an excuse to make another visit!

All staff lovely from bar to restaurant, starters delicious, roast dinner , maybe courgette with a curry flavour not needed on a roast dinner, maybe mash potato or cauliflower cheese Thank you Steve &Marilyn Sunday 1st June

Lovely food, great surroundings. Put on a table next to a large party when the rest of the restaurant was empty, but it was ok. Would definitely go back.

The outside area is exceptionally stunning at the moment. The food and wine was great. We both ate the set menu which was good value and very tasty, no complaints.
