Carlton Wine Room is a neighbourhood restaurant offering a well-executed, fresh, seasonal food menu, and an ever changing, diverse wine list featuring the best of Italy, Australia and the rest of the World. We offer a bar space, an upstairs restaurant dining room and three unique spaces that are can be booked for private dining perfect for special events.

RESERVATIONS: are for a two hour sitting. We do not accept bookings for drinks and snacks, however we accept walk-ins for this if space permits. A surcharge of up to 1.2% applies to credit card transactions. A surcharge of 10% applies on Sundays and 15% on Public Holidays.

OUTSIDE SEATING: please note this is subject to the weather and we may not be able to move your reservation inside in the case of bad weather.

CANCELLATION: A $50 per person no show fee is charged for failing to attend your reservation. Contact us on 9347 2626 to make changes or cancel your reservation.

We went for our anniversary meal and it was phenomenal. Service was great, food was fantastic and wine was delicious. Would 100% recommend for any special occasion. We had the chefs recommended food and were able to make it pescatarian.

we had the best time at Carlton wine room and it was the best service I’d had in a long time. Our server was very friendly and accomodating to our numerous dietries. Would recommend and come again!

The place is nice & cosy. Very tight seating and the team were very strict with the time allocated & kept reminding us that they need the table at a specific time. We asked them to move to the higher table & they were able to move us but again they were not happy that we haven’t ordered more food & got us the cheque to ask us nicely to leave! I didn’t appreciate that, it felt a bit cheap from them to do so!

A pretty nondescript evening, nothing bad nothing particularly good. The food was pleasant and they have an excellent wine list. We had a particularly loud neighbouring table. I’d give it a miss.

Lively dining atmosphere on first floor. Ground floor more wine bar/bistro feel. First rate service and top wine advice. Food delicious and generous portions (ideal for sharing). Will definitely return.
