   Recently started having our monthly business lunch get together here. Glenn and all the staff are amazing. Very personable, very entertaining and attentive to all our needs. I give this restaurant 10 stars.

   The waitress was fabulous and made our experience way out of the ordinary. The seafood platter appetizer was fresh and beautifully presented.the fillets were cooked perfectly. And so on. You can’t miss with this place.

   As always, had a lovely time at the Capital Grille. A highlight this time was our sever, Sean, who was excellent! He was attentive, engaging, and really added to our experience there. The food is always consistently great!

    Table location was excellent so we did not get the noise of the kitchen and servers, service was excellent and food was very very good. It was a little expensive so we keep this to a special occasion.

    We had a group of 6 and were seated in a comfortable booth with 3 chairs on the other side of the table. Johnny was our server and he was friendly, helpful, and attentive all night. He made wonderful recommendations and made the evening even more enjoyable as he engaged in conversation with us and had fun with our group. Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection.

    If we go back, it will be because of the service and the effort of wine director Lina Lorenzen as well as my wife's food being nicely prepared. As for my meals, improperly cleaned shrimp and overcooked steak certainly gives me pause. As steakhouses go, Capital Grille has a lot to offer, but a 50% hit rate on food isn't where it should be.

    The food was fantastic and our steaks were cooked perfectly. Our waiter gave us time on the menu and to enjoy our eating. The rose and confetti for Valentine’s Day was a nice touch. This is our second time visiting and have become fans now.

    Greeted with “welcome & Happy Anniversary” when we checked in. Meghan took care of us at the bar, as we arrived early to enjoy a cocktail, with prompt service and a smile. It only got better from there. Awaiting for us at our table was a note and long stem red rose wishing us Happy Anniversary. Rico provided excellent service along with delicious calamari appetizer, soup, salad, and perfectly cooked sea bass along with the NY steak special of the evening. Our wine glasses were tended to throughout the evening, and the Happy Anniversary desert was amazing. If you’re celebrating a special occasion, can’t miss with Capital Grille - Fairfax.

    My second time at the Fairfax location and both times were phenomenal! Great service and the best food I’ve had at any other high end restaurants! Easily my favorite nice restaurant to go to for a special occasion! Seabass melts in your mouth!

    My wife’s food was good( she had fried Calamari and crab cakes and lobster), I had a roasted Pear salad that was great and Mac and Cheese that tasted great only you had to eat the bottom since the top was baked and the Macaronis were too hard to Chew! My main course was Filet Mignon( ordered it Medium) with Mushrooms. The meat was nearly charred on the outside!! The desert was great, I had the cheesecake and my wife had the crème brûlée. We sat at the boot and the Noise level was AWFUL. The people sitting behind us seamed had swallowed loudspeakers each. The experience was awful and $275 was waisted if you asked me. The waiter and the Valet were both excellent.

    This was our first time to the new Capital Grille in Fairfax. I love the design of the building both outside and in. The main dining area where we sat was warm and inviting, the tables spacious and the seats very comfortable. It was very easy to have and hear the conversation at our table even though the room was full. Our server Miguel was wonderful ! Very professional, and knowledgeable about the food and wine. For appetizers we had a Caesar salad and the tuna tartare. The salad was very good with shaves of Parmesan, croutons and a perfect Caesar dressing. The tuna tartare was delicious with avocado and an accompanying Siracha sauce. For entrees we had the tuna and the sea bass. Both were cooked perfectly, served nice and hot and were delicious! Miguel suggested we try the Brussels sprouts and we were so glad he did! They are yummy! The wine list was varied with several reasonable cost selections. Thank you Miguel for a delightful evening!
