Dinner for four: started with appetizers and soup. They have lobster bisque although it’s not on the menu. My wife loves the Burrata and heirloom tomatoes. We each had the filets and shared three side items. With glasses of wine and iced tea the bill was $425. Sounds expensive but the meal was fantastic. I highly recommend this restaurant for special occasions!

Overall, it was okay. But when I dine here I expect more. For all the other times I dined at the Capital Grille the service was excellent. This time, it was nothing exceptional. We had to wait longer than usual between servings and it felt like we were ignored a bit. For example when we asked for a refill on water I expected the waitress to come right back. Instead, we had to wait and then remind her again. It did not seem overly busy either. In the other places I might have just let this slide, at Capital Grille where I pay top dollar for a special occasion I expect more.

Each course (salad, shareables, main, dessert) was excellent and interestingly crafted. It's a fairly pricey restaurant but you do get what you pay for. Service was excellent too.

First visit. Just stepping in the door, you know it was going to be a great experience. Better than any meal we've had at other local up-market steak houses: the ambiance, the furnishings, the service, but mainly the food. For anniversaries and special occasions, this is our new go-to place.

Food was amazing. The bartender needs to learn to use her indoor voice. The waiter was nice and very polite but the service was spotty. Drink service was bad including getting a second glass of water. Never offered a second glass of wine. Very long periods of time to check on me, the place was not busy.. Will I go back again yes but hoping for better service.

We had an amazing meal and really enjoyed our Saturday night. We have been to Fairfax Capital Grill many times and have been lucky to have Mussi take care of our table. He is amazing and his service is first class! He even remembers what we had ordered on previous visits and it is because him and the great food that we keep coming back! Until next time…

Sliced filet mignon was burnt on outside so was overdone. Hard to believe a even a steak place line cook can’t even get a standard med-rare correct. Management did remake it correctly but I still just had to sit there and watch my wife eat during our anniversary dinner. The Tyson’s Capital Grill is better but too far a drive regularly. Looks like we’ll return to Ruth’s Chris right down the street.

Appreciated the welcoming ambiance, the effort to honour my request for the best waiter in the world (and I am VERY well travelled and very particular), Soufian, and a good table. We are not strangers to this Capital Grille and always leave full and happy. I love your calamari, and really enjoyed the lolly popped lamb chops which Soufian ensured were well done, but moist and tender still - thank you. From the salmon to the filet mignon and chicken dish, the general consensus at the table was that the chef is up there - all the dishes were tasty with just the right amount of salt (I'm a little sensitive to salt). I liked the concoction Ali (Soufian's colleague) got the bar staff to prepare with lots of ginger beer - it was really refreshing. And the creme brulee... delicious! The crowd was diverse and I noticed the family-friendly attitude of the staff too.

Service was on point, per usual. We were sitting at the bar waiting for our order of lamb chops and skillet hash browns with royal ossetra caviar, when a waiter noticed I was cold and brought me a shawl (how thoughtful). The food arrived and did not disappoint. Absolutely delicious. Always a great experience.

Thought I had already completed a review on how fabulous our dinner and experience was. Love Capital Grill and have been to many all over in different states. This is an exceptional building and we were in the area for a wedding, live in Colorado. Can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our server who we felt like was a friend, Parker! Excellent service and we so enjoyed our conversations when it was a little later and slowing down in the evening and we had some time to chat. Loved it, and steaks, some of the best we have had in awhile, superb Flowers Pinot, sides, but topped of with a fun, enjoyable server, Thank you Parker, will see you again!

Food was great as usual with a varied selection to choose. The waiter could have been more forthcoming and accommodating in that after choosing our appetizers and then main courses, he could have told us that soup & salad came with the main course instead of paying separately for both---meaning our ordered appetizers were brought to the table then he tried to bring another salad then a soup with no explanation. Something was wrong!!!!

We had a 7:00 reservation. We finally got seated at 7:30 after being told they were running 5 minutes behind schedule. Once seated, server was great, food was fine, but it was still very slow. Maybe just a bad night, but not what you would expect.
