Waited 10 minutes to be sat with only 3-4 table in the dining/bar area at 7pm. Hostess seemed unprepared. Once sat waited 15 minutes for server. Placed drink, app and main order all at once. 7 minutes for 2 drinks, 10 more minutes for perogies appetizer. No cuttlery and could not find server so was using bare hands and flag food picks to start eating. Finally received cutlery as we finished the app. Mains came out. My wife’s food was fine. I ordered steak special medium (came out rare to med-rare and completely no seasoning) veg was cold, and came with mashed (asked for fries). No manager or server to be found… another server brought me fries. When our server finally came back I mentioned after a few bites that my steak had no seasoning and undercooked. She apologized and walked away. I waved her down and asked for salt and pepper to at least add a little flavour to my steak. Waited awhile as apparently there was ZERO salt and pepper shakers in the entire main floor or bar atea and had to retrieve from upstairs. Spotted what I thought may have been the manager talking to his friends at the bar but didn’t come by the table for a table touch / check. Finally my wife asked the server for at least a little steak spice and the server came back with a small bit in a paper ramekin. She kept asking us if we wanted more drinks but did not offer to fix our meal or retrieve the manager on duty. Wife and I were there to celebrate our 20th anniversary and had show tickets so, frustrated, we paid our bill $111.24 (no discount offered) + tip… and left. Honestly… have worked 25+ years in culinary and was completely beside myself with the experience.

Good food and service, on a nice rooftop patio! Would recommend if looking for a meal outdoors.

Great time with a bigger group of us. Staff was fast and friendly and the manager on duty was awesome.

"I love the relaxed feel of this place – like a comfortable dining room in a friends home. I definitely would return to try more dishes. The potato-leek soup was amazing and the Bibb lettuce salad was refreshing. The table was split on the monkfish – one person thought it was great, but another felt that the tastes didn't quite mesh. Everyone loved the flat iron steak. Service was well-timed and friendly, wines were affordable."

Our wait staff was lovely. Food took a long time to come out to our table. Little things like, no ketchup, not enough napkins, not enough knives one entree come out 10 mins after everyone else’s (apparently dropped on the way to our table) those thinks make a big difference when you have to ask multiple times. Food as good. Loved the vibe on the outdoor patio.

Slow service. Side plates were dirty. Asked for new side plates and was told they were out but we could use napkins to share our appetizer. Strongbow cider was watered down. I swear the tomato soup was Campbells from a can, and came with a pack of broken crackers. The soul power bowl salad was the worst - the kale was straight from the bag, hard as plastic as if it was garnish, no seasoning, and a few strips of dry chicken. Everything was so bad. Wanted to love it because I'm a proud Canadian - we can do so much better than this.

We enjoyed our first experience at The Canadian Brewhouse. My Cobb salad was delicious but unfortunately my husband ordered the large prime rib and he said it was tough and not very flavourful.

The host ( I didn't get his name) at the door was very nice and friendly, he later came over to see what we had ordered and if we were happy with our choices. Angelina was our server. She is a pretty little young lady. She gave quick, friendly, efficient service. We were there during the Edmonton / Florida hockey game, it was exciting. We enjoyed our evening. We will definitely be back. Even will use door dash. Thank You Canadian Brewhouse

Usually things are very good and the waitress was nice but I think she was too busy cause we had a hard time getting order filled. She did her best and overall it was great
