The prime rib was excellent! However the traditional turkey and dressing were wanting. Dressing was soggy and the turkey was less than flavorful. Expectations were high and The Cabin was not as great as was hoped.

The spinach, tomato, avocado Eggs Benedict is my favorite brunch. Shared with a friend who thought the sauce was perfect. While I’m not normally a fan of breakfast potatoes, these are the best I’ve had. Attentive wait staff and really pretty place

I ordered the bison bolognese and, while the flavor of the bolognese was good, most of the noodles were stuck together in a big wad. The server was overwhelmed, so the service wasn’t great. Will skip this one next time.

As usual the food and service were excellent. We’re locals who eat at The Cabin several times each year. Several families with young kids so a little noisy and “active” sometimes. We’ve been there & done that ourselves years ago, so we didn’t find it unpleasant. Very pleased with the consistent great food and service.

We have a lovely experience at The Cabin for dinner. We sat by the fireplace and enjoyed the warm environment. It was our server’s first day. She was kind and attentive. She allowed us to take our time and enjoy the evening. Definitely an excellent addition to your team. The food was delicious as expected. Thank you for providing a memorable experience.

We loved our server Michael who really enhanced the experience. We walked in to see a table of four where all were wearing bathrobes and nearly walked out. The fixed-price meal was very good.

We entered an empty restaurant. The server had no idea what he was doing when it came to drinks. Unfortunately bar menu not available snd server had no idea what liquors were available. I had to go to bar to pick out scotch. We were approached by the hostess who informed us she had seated us at the wrong table and we could stay at that table as long as we would leave in an hour snd 15 minutes. 1/2 hour later she told us “ never mind”. My husband ordered New York strip steak rare it came well done- the steak was between 40! -50$. The second drink took more than 1/2 hour to receive and at that point there were 12 additional people. Would never go back:

We had planned this dinner for weeks. The menu looked great. We called ahead to make sure our reservation was ok and food wasn’t going to be an issue. We drove over an hr to get there. Food was cold. No butter for buns. No sweet potatoes as the menu stated. No prime rib as advertised. Pies were cold. Green beans had the stems on. Brussels had the butts on. The food was so disappointing The meal we had tonight, at the roadhouse in grand lake was far superior. The tbone was cooked perfectly with mash and sautéed veg. The crumble was served warm on a warm plate and ice cold ice cream. I’m just so upset I spent the money on the cabin when I could have saved it or gone elsewhere. Too much pomp and not enough circumstance

Date night at the Cabin. What could go wrong? There were just a few occupied tables during our visit. Regardless, we were seated at a tiny 2 top close to the back entrance that opened to the grand ballroom hallway even though there were lots of other options available. Meanwhile, The Ski School Ball was going on with lots of young ski mountain employees next door. It was a pretty noisy party that we got to hear but not enjoy through the open door. A table of 6 children on the other side of us did balance the commotion for a while. Upon seating, the host let us know our waiter would be by soon and he eventually did show up. The waiter was pleasant and reasonably attentive but distracted by the festivities next door. Our appetizer - a loaf of bread with some bland spinach and artichoke dip in a small cavity on the top was edible but heavy on the bread and light on the dip. The flavor did become very pronounced about 3am, so there's that. The Main Course - Our rib eye and salmon cake entre with béarnaise sauce, mashed potatos and grilled asparagus was delivered luke warm. I have little doubt the meat was the desired medium rare coming off the grill, but had "rested" to a medium well by the time it made the table. The béarnaise sauce touted on the menu was more of a garnish/decoration around the edge of the plate and insufficient to be useful on the meat or asparagus. The potatoes were a barely warm, firm blob and served without gravy, butter or other toppings. 5 sprigs of asparagus were the highlight of the main course. When it came time for the bill, things got more interesting. Being a resort property, Ikon Passholders are promised a 15% discount. The waiter brought the initial itemized bill and left with my credit card and a promise to apply the discount. In the end, we got a 10% discount and assurance that is all we were entitled to. I later confirmed he was incorrect but at that point we just wanted to make a clean exit.

Had 11:00 reservation. Arrived and they said they didn’t have a reservation for me and didn’t open until 11:30. Despite the confirmations from open table. The menu didn’t match the website. This was for brunch. They said they didn’t do brunch. Service was terrible. Food was barely edible. Just a disaster.
