   Quick weekend getaway to Cleveland and ate at the Burnham for breakfast while staying at the Hilton. Food was great and the Hilton Honors credit was perfect for the bundled breakfast.

   We stopped here for dinner before a show in playhouse square, parking is not great at the Hilton but the valet gave us a ticket to park near the hotel. I had the salmon, my partner had a wedge salad and my kid had pasta. He wanted the open face roast beef that was on special, but they were out, disappointing. My food was hot, which was awesome, flavorful. The martinis were delicious and Mykel, our waiter, was terrific.

   When we arrived, no hostess was at the desk to great or seat us. We had to wait at least 5 min. for anyone to even show up at the desk. My daughter's grilled chicken tasted like rubber. My son got the open-faced roast beef sandwich special, and he didn't eat it, which is odd, as he usually eats anything. I got it too, and I liked mine. The crab dip app. was excellent. However, when we ran out of pita, and asked our waitress for some more, she never brought it. 15 min. later (not having seen our waitress since then), I asked one of the hostesses if she could get us some. About 10 min. later, they finally brought some. The service was very lacking.

   We were told that food would take over an hour to be served so we had to get just a salad. Valet parking took 25 minutes to get our car. The night was $93 for 2 iceberg lettuce salads and a glass of water.

    We were hopeful for a lovely dinner given the beautiful hotel and ambience of the restaurant. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. Those are the only good things I can say about the restaurant. My husband and I each got a glass of wine ($16/ per glass). It was not a good wine, despite the price. When we looked up the cost of the bottle if purchased at the store, $8.50. So each glass was basically twice the price of the entire bottle. While we understand marking up the alcohol, this was ridiculous. As we were not really hungry, we each ordered a Ceasar salad, mine with chicken and my husband’s with salmon. His was good, mine was the worst chicken I’ve ever had. I’m not sure how they made it so dry but it was awful. When we got the bill, with tip it was $109. So overpriced for such a disappointing meal. We will NEVER go back to this restaurant again.

    On 11/8/22 I & my husband had a room at the Hilton hotel, downtown Cleveland. We placed a reservation for The Burnham . We were seated quickly. The restaurant was quiet and not crowded at all. The waiter was extremely attentive and went through the drink & food menu throughly. I ordered the shrimp & grits & my husband ordered the hot chicken sandwich which came highly recommended by the waiter. My husband is allergic to the ingredients in mayonnaise so he asked that it not be placed on his sandwich. Of course once his sandwich came out it had a ton of mayo on it. Thankfully he looked at it first instead of biting into it. He called our waiter over, who then returned the sandwich to the kitchen to be “remade”. Once my shrimp & grits arrived I immediately noticed that I had maybe a tablespoon of grits , no pork andouille sausage whatsoever and just a ton of tomato based Cajun like sauce. I asked our waiter for another side of grits and asked to speak with the manager. Amanda was the manager this evening and was absolutely disengaged in the service we received from her chef. She started in with excuses, stating the andouille sausage is a flavoring in the sauce not actually pieces of sausage. This seemed very bait & switch, because the menu clearly stated andouille sausage was apart of the dish!! She said she could have the chef remake it and actually cut up pieces of andouille sausage even though this goes against how the dish should be made, as if she was doing us a favor. My husband’s sandwich came out on the same bun and the same pieces of chicken with only the lettuce & tomato replaced because that’s the only parts that had visible mayo on them. Amanda then said it was not the same meat because it was to go to another table and she watched the chef give it to my husband instead of the other person. Amanda never even apologized until I asked her to. She comped the meals & made us pay for our drinks. This experience was absolutely awful and needs to be addressed!

    I chose to eat here based simply on convenience. The food was good and worth another visit. I had a great waiter and waitress that made it a fun experience. Glad to see others enjoying their job and keeping it entertaining.

    Went for brunch there because we stayed at the Hilton. Ordered from brunch menu. Brought the wrong side. They were out of the potatoes and subbed a couple of chunks of watermelon without telling us so we could decide if we wanted something else. They were out of a brunch item 2 hours before they stop serving brunch. The waiter was not informed they were out of the item so he comped 1 of the meals. I would not go there again.

    Good for an in house hotel restaurant. Fairly limited menu but that enables them to do what they do well. Food was well cooked and tasty. Staff helpful and attentive. Open plan kitchen is nice to see your food being prepared.

    Firstly, I cannot say enough good things about our waiter Michael. He really went above and beyond to get us everything from ketchup to soda refills. The service was really top notch. We went at lunch time and it was quiet and calm. All around great ambience. The food was pretty delicious too.

    Greeted by a friendly hostess, immediately seated and water poured! Waiter was very nice and attentive. All around nice experience. We had the Lake Erie Walleye and it was a generous portion, really good. Not too noisy so we could carry on a conversation. I will be back for sure.

    Limited menu. Small, overpriced portions. Steaks ordered medium rare were cooked well done twice. Slow kitchen service considering how empty the place was on a Friday night. Yet the linguini with alfredo and chicken was fresh and flavorful, and the waiter was friendly, thorough and attentive.

    Went for our 5 year wedding anniversary and the place couldn’t be better. Food was amazing and the service was even better. Ryan and staff were awesome and I couldn’t have picked a better place. Will be back.

    This restaurant was a disappointment considering it is a Hilton convention caliber hotel. The food was nothing exceptional taken from a limited menu. Desert was very small. I asked for a caramel sauce to be told ten minutes later that they were out. They could have made the sauce in that time.

    Horrible ! Good options were limited, overpriced, and not good. If you want to sit with a large group, everyone had to be on one check. Was not busy in restaurant and took us an hour to order after we placed drinks. Won’t be back again

    Service was annoying and the food was terrible. We ordered the Margherita pizza. It was a dry piece cardboard with a tomato on it. Don't even get me started on the salad. Our server seemed like he was ease dropping on our conversation.
