   Valerie, the hostess, was awesome. As were the rest of the staff. Very attentive, and kind.

   Limited menu due to cheerleading competition in town. No heads-up by hotel or restaurant. Disappointed.

   I brought my brother and his best friend here for a little holiday luncheon and gift exchange. I come to The Burnham frequently for lunch and I have been to dinner there several times. It was very quiet this afternoon and not a lot of folks in the restaurant. It was quiet, the holiday ambiance and decorations were great. The food was outstanding as usual. My brother had a caesar salad and the fried chicken sandwich, his friend had the pot roast sandwich with French fries and I had a Caesar salad and a pepperoni pizza. Again, the food was outstanding, but I think $23 for the pizza is just a little steep, especially for it being a thinner crust pizza. Don’t get me wrong - it was delicious — just slightly overpriced. I do realize that restaurants in hotels like the Hilton do have higher prices; although I am willing to pay for good food. Our server was outstanding (I am sorry, I can’t remember his name, but he was incredibly helpful and provided outstanding service). All in all - it was an A+ experience.

   1) everything was as if they didn’t expect any guests. Delay being seated; delay getting water and drinks; delay in order; delay in each of the3 fixed courses. More coffee promised but never came. 2) waitress was pleasant; food was fair, but overpriced for what we got. Wouldn’t have minded if it didn’t seem like no one cared. 3) supposed to be a fixed menu — then lots of people were given normal menus. 4) valet charged $35 - then said it didn’t go through- then charged me the correct $15: BOTH CHARGES WENT THROUGH! A very disappointing first visit to this Hotel/restaurant.

   Made a last minute reservation on Christmas Day, so wasn't expecting outstanding service. The food was good, the cocktails tasty. Our server only put 2 of the 4 entrees in, then rushed us to finish as they had to get ready for the dinner seating. We moved to the bar, where service was excellent as were the cocktails.
