   The venue is beautiful. The food not as good. The beef wellington was a real stand out the pairing with what seemed like oven chips was a bit of a let down. The mushroom patè on toast- tarter was poor with supermarket salad on the side and the vegan chocolate cake should be renamed the coconut cake not one I will rush back too.

   Absolutely brilliant place. Amazing menu, wonderful cocktails and probably the best loos in London.

   Having booked the Bonnevile for my Birthday as myself & turns out all my friends hadn't been! plus I'm always a fan of supporting independent venues. The place itself is great, cocktails were really good but the food let it down! - 3 of us had chosen Chicken escalope which was black when it came out - sides dishes were missing. Thankfully the manager came over & apologized & we were offered a complementary bottle of Prosecco & could choose another dish after one of the inexperienced waiters told us 'That's how its cooked!' Such a shame as not sure I would risk another go....

   service was great, very friendly staff, steak cooked perfectly, mussells were only slight complaint in that a few of them looked quite grey (I suspect maybe frozen). Partners goat cheese tart was lovely and I will def be back to enjoy one of the cocktails

   Very good bistrot classics, accompanied by a competitively priced wine list. This was a high standard pub supper, with excellent service, in an authentic hackney pub. Both the room and the other customers could only have been in New-East London. We were impressed that despite the pressure for tables and casual dining feel we weren't asked to give up our table after 90 minutes. The head waiter also gave us first class advice as to where to go on to, for drinks later.

    What an amazing catch. I ran into this through Opentable randomly, we went there hoping for a nice meal and it was close enough in the neighbourhood. The design of the place is very beautiful, the food was phenomenal, the staff so friendly and helpful, and at the end it wasn't even expensive. Will be coming back there very soon!
