   I ordered the boathouse burger and my girlfriend ordered the caesar salad, both with a side of fries. Fries were slightly disappointing, but our entrees were fabulous! Received excellent, quick, and attentive service and had a wonderful time enjoying the view of the lake!

   Reservation specifically requested table overlooking water and two of us sitting side by side due to hearing deficit. Even re-requested in confirmation. Stuck at a table for two sitting across from one another behind the hostess shed with no view. Server and food was very good. Bar service at both the bar and once seated was "backed up" had to wait 15 - 20 minutes for a glass of wine. Definitely not worth the drive from the city.

   We had an amazing experience at the Boathouse tonight! We were celebrating our anniversary which we stated in our reservation. Upon arrival we were told happy anniversary and were given a hand written card! Once seated our waited asked what we were celebrating and once we told him, we were offered complimentary champagne! He said its a new thing they've started. We were pleasantly surprised. We ordered the 3 course meal which is only offered 4pm-6pm. The clam chowder, salad, shrimp, crab cake, fries, creme brulee with berries and bread pudding covered in pecans sitting in caramel sauce topped with ice cream and a banana were so delicious!! Our waiter was very attentive and friendly as well as the kitchen staff. We can't wait to go back!

   Everything was great except the hostess who took us to our table said zero words. Zero. Probably 4.5 stars but can’t pick that.

   The buffet and setup was amazing! Well worth it ! Wish they did this setup everyday

   We were there for Mother's Day brunch. We were seated and waited over 10 minutes before our table was approached to just order drinks. Tables that were seated after us were approached first. We were upstairs, which I would not recommend if you have older guests with you, which we did. We had to walk down the dark stairs to get our food and carry it back upstairs. Again, fine for all but my mother. I did ask a nice young man if he would carry her plate for her and was happy to help. The food, you could tell some of it had been sitting out for awhile. It was about $70 per person and definitely not worth that price on the buffet. Normal menu is usually okay, would not recommend the brunch buffet for the price.

    Mother's Day brunch. Never again. 230 pm reservation. Food was old and cold.on the buffet. Some things got replaced but many did not. Took 20 minutes for sodas to be delivered to the table. When they arrived they were so water down with melted ice the kids and wife could not drink them. Waiter tried his best. First 20 minutes the service was poor but after that it was good. The food quality was not worth $68/person. Didn't even see a manger in the tent room or anywhere for that matter. Very disappointed. Don't think we will do this again. Probably.our 3th mother's day brunch at the boathouse and by far the worst.
