Our patio tables are some of the most coveted seats in town, with the chance to take in an expansive waterfront view while enjoying selections from our menu of contemporary seafood classics. Traditionally we have not guaranteed seating, but now through OpenTable Experiences, we are able to set aside a few of our best tables each night. The $5/pp fee reserves seating at one of these tables. In the event of inclement weather, your reservation fee is transferable to another available date. Reservation fee is non-refundable.

This was not mine and my friend’s first visit, by any means. We had a reservation and were seated in a timely fashion. The food was great, as usual. We both had simple meals—each of us with a salad and an added protein, a crab cake for me (“yum”) and grilled chicken for her. Both of us totally satisfied, and our waitress was excellent. The only little negative for the night was the extended delay in getting our dessert served—crème brûlée that we were sharing. When our waitress realized it hadn’t been served, she took care of the problem immediately. Otherwise, very satisfying dinner.

Our waitress, April, was phenomenal. She went above and beyond to accommodate myself and my party of 6. I’ll definitely request her upon our next visit.

The Boathouse was VERY loud. There was a wedding party and another party there so perhaps that is why but we had to shout to hear each other at our table and our waitress had trouble hearing our order. When our food came out is was very good but it took a long time before it was served. Fortunately we ordered an appetizer that held us over until our entry arrived. We had a reservation for 5:30 but weren't seated until about 5:45. We ordered quickly and the appetizer arrived in a reasonable amount of time but we had to wait about 40 minutes after we finished eating the appetizer before the entrees were served. This time seemed longer since it was too loud to have a reasonable conversation. Despite the quality of the food I do not plan to eat at The Boathouse again.

We had a fabulous experience at The Boathouse! There were six of us traveling in the area and had dinner outside on the lovely deck. The setting was awesome, the service attentive and the food was excellent! Highly recommend!

The food was well prepared and tasty. Service was very good. Parking was difficult as there was a major event at the restaurant. Our meal was at 7 pm and the river view was very scenic.

Roasted brussels sprouts were great a little spicy, New England clam chowder was excellent, my shrimp tacos were excellent as well! The cod sandwiches were good, but lots of overly crispy coating. Homemade chips were great! Great view of the river and our server Christawas again excellent !!
