   ther’s Day Brunch – Disappointing and Overpriced I was really looking forward to celebrating Mother’s Day, but unfortunately, this brunch experience didn’t live up to expectations. For the price, it simply wasn’t worth it. Not only did they tack on several extra fees and taxes, but they also included gratuity without any clear notice. The buffet menu was nearly identical to their usual offerings, yet they charged an additional $10 just because it was Mother’s Day—without any prior notice or communication about the price increase. For what we paid, I could have easily gone to a much better à la carte restaurant with higher-quality food and service. Also worth noting: they didn’t offer any kid-friendly options, which made it even more difficult for families with young children. Overall, I’d suggest thinking twice before booking this brunch—especially on a holiday. There are far better experiences out there for the same price (or less).

   We love Blackwall Barn and Lodge. We have visited the Columbia location many times, but this was our first time to the location in Gambrills. We will definitely return. the food was delicious! A little pricey though. Service was good, and staff were friendly.

   We had an amazing experience, the food, ambience, and overall experience was amazing and our waiter. Ryan was very attentive and cordial. We will definitely be back and bring others with us.

   Food is top tier, but reasonably priced. Best braised short rib I’ve had in recent memory. Spouse’s seafood pasta was also thumbs up (homemade pasta). We advised through Open Table that it was our anniversary & the restaurant had our table ready in front of the fireplace. The wait staff was superb (kudos Megan) and managers were attentive but not intrusive. Megan recommended the apple cinnamon bread pudding for dessert, which topped off our evening perfectly.

   Overall, it was a great place for dinner. Seemed like we waited a bit longer than usual for our main entree to be served. Great food and drink otherwise.

   Excellent Bruch experience. We took out of town guests and they were impressed and very satisfied with the entire experience. They loved the food and the vast variety of items to choose from. Hands down the best brunch in Anne Arundel county.
