   We had an incredible meal that was curated by the chef. Each dish was creative and delicious. The service was impeccable. The menu is also very accessible for those with dietary restrictions.

   Nestled on an unassuming street in downtown Santa Barbara, Black Sheep is truly a diamond in the rough. This Welcoming classic brasserie could easily be in Paris but fortunately you don’t have to go that far to enjoy its exquisite food, excellent wine selections, and top notch service.    The tasting menu was exceptional - a lot of food and great variety…unusual, well executed and delicious. Service was great and the setting was low-key classy…understated upscale and comfortable. Surprisingly easy to hear even with a full house. We were celebrating a birthday and they added a few little thoughtful extras. Definitely recommend.

   We did the tasting menu. Excellent value for all the selections we received. It’s a great way to try things and it was our first time at the restaurant excellent cocktails as well. The “Espresso Cocktail” was delicious. Good service and an overall very nice atmosphere.

   We thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The menu was very eclectic. I had the special which was black cod and a wonderful sauce and my husband had the chicken dish which was extremely tasty also. They are not friendly so we brought our dog and sat on the back patio.
