Great food and service
Always a favorite stop when visiting Springdale. This year, we were grateful not just for the kind service and excellent food, but also for their serious approach to the health of their employees and guests.
Great spot after visiting the park. They're menu has a lot of choices especially if you're veggie or vegan and their jalapeño margherita is fire. Would highly recommend! Make a reservation to save yourself a wait.
Had a great meal here while on vacation. Enjoyed the patio and our meal!
Awesome! Such a great meal after a day of hiking in Zion. Spicy margherita brought some serious heat, fish taco's were fresh and mango, pineapple salsa was super flavorful. Seriously some of the best fish taco's I've had in years and I live in CA where they are on many menu's and usually pretty good. My wife had the southwest chicken salad and said it was very good as well. Definitely worth a visit while in Zion.
We felt welcomed and well taken care of by all the staff from the hostess to our server We sat outside and the weather was amazing -we enjoyed the shrimp tacos, enchiladas and fresh guacamole. We also enjoyed the spot on margaritas.
Very fun local place. Food was interesting and fun crowd. I enjoyed my prickly pear margarita and the tacos were delicious. The only disappointment was we made a reservation through open table I could not get in until nine. We arrived were many tables so it’s obvious we could’ve gotten in earlier.
We sat outside with a beautiful view. The hostess was very personable and our server Madonna was absolutely the best. Our drinks were very good and served quickly the food was delicious (we had prickly pear margaritas along with guacamole, salsa and chips and a very nice salad and the fresh fish tacos). We will going to The Bit and Spur again! Very enjoyable.
We made reservations and got in right away, even though there was a long line waiting to get in. The place was a bit noisy but it was very crowded. The service was top notch and very friendly. She even made some cocktail suggestions which we took her up on. The food was good. We had a good time overall.
Food was ok….rib eye was lacking, it lacked flavor and the sauce it was smothered in did not help.
Mexican food was good . Ordered guacamole/chips and it was delicious.
Fried brussel sprouts were roasted..NOT fried and not very good.
Would order Mexican food next time.
Selected this restaurant due to recommendation of local in Springdale, and also that it was available to book on Open Table. The food was very good, and the service was outstanding! You can tell everyone who works there is working their butts off to provide fast and efficient service, and to make you a happy customer. Our server was Holly, and she was amazing! I’d highly recommend this restaurant!
We had excellent service with this restaurant including complimentary drinks when there was a 10 minute delay in being seated. Very professional and friendly hostess. The 4 stars is related to the tacos which were bland. I suspect that an ingredient may have been missed in the assembly of this food. The prickly pear margarita was fantastic. Good selection of food. Enjoyed the patio outside with heaters-very comfortable.
Wonderful food and ambience. We went twice in two days while on vacation. The second time was just for drinks and starters, and the service was as attentive as the night before when our tab was much higher. Highly recommend.
Always a great meal! Hope to be back next year.
Overall good dining experience. However Check in process seemed disorganized and the bar was closed. Margaritas were average at best.
Rosemary chicken pasta was wonderful. Swordfish tacos good but very small amount of fish.
The music outside was fun to
Listen to after dinner. They play at different times.
Great meal and great service. Highly recommend if you are in the Zion area.
Server was good. Tried 2 different margaritas, very blah/flat. Nothing to write home about. Food was ok to pretty good. Coconut mango shrimp is grilled shrimp on a skewer not deep fried batter style. The 2/$15 combo was a fine value. Weird abstract paintings on walls in dining room. We made a reservation. It was ok to fine, we’d give it a B to B- grade. The outdoor seating areas looked pretty cool. Do that if nice weather.
Excellent meal, service and great time!
We were seated outside behind the restaurant - surrounded by large grassy areas. Heaters worked fine. Service was great - friendly, helpful, timely. Recommended the guacamole and that was spot! Food was very good - the chili verde a bit spicy, ribs were fall off the bone tender, tamales were delicious. We also had the shishito peppers with a lime (?) aoli and a side of the street corn. Took some home, but happy we ordered everything.
Anniversary meal! Perfect with a few margaritas!
Great food and service. Got a 4:45 reservation which was fine because we were on East coast time. Sat outside under covered patio. Tamales, carne asada and beer were excellent. Great laid back atmosphere. We heard this is a place that is very popular with the locals, and can see why.
Amazing outdoor dining area under cute lantern string lights on the grass make for a very comfortable dining experience from a COVID safety perspective. Attentive staff and good food seal the deal!
Great food and outstanding service!
Friendly wait staff and good food!
Fabulous food, service, all around. Recommend reservations. Enjoy!
We sat outside with the canyon in the background. The shrimp tacos, fish tacos, shrimp tacos, cilantro shrimp appetizers - everything was delicious. It was a great eating experience!
My husband and I thought the food here was great and the peach margarita was excellent. I had the sweet potato tamales which were good. Good portion sizes as we didn't get dessert but the ones we saw coming out of the kitchen did look good. Definitely would recommend eating here.
Beset and finest dinner we had in Springdale. Quality food and service. Make sure that you make a reservation.
For years we have been going to B&S when visiting Zion. Never does it disappoint. Great everything! And this year their was live music which made our experience even better. Be sure to make reservations but even if you don’t it’s worth waiting for a table to open. Couldn’t be more satisfied with the menu and margaritas.
Thank you to the owners for maintaining such a fine restaurant and bar. Year after year!!
And compliments to the exceptional staff, especially Holly!
Tiffany was an awesome server-very friendly and quick. We didn’t have any wait, everything was timed perfectly. When in Springdale, we always have our first meal here!
Food was so delicious accompanied by excellent service.
Excellent Mexican food in a eclectic atmosphere. It appears to have been a steak house. Very nice outdoor and indoor seating. Service was friendly but slow bringing chips and salsa. I had fish tacos which were great. Grilled fish with excellent pico de gallo. Beans were outstanding (not greasy typical). Rice was also good. Enjoyed the peach margaritas.
We brought our 10 mo old daughter and we had to sit outside because she's immune compromised. Everyone was lovely from the hostess, to our server and all the amazing people who came by to say hi in between. From the service alone we'd come back but the carne asada was incredible and it was a really lovely place to have dinner.
Food was ok. Very limited menu. Would probably try somewhere else if we are ever back in town.
Excellent Mexican food with a great selection of vegetarian and gluten-free options. Very busy but nice ambiance. Would highly recommend when in the area.
We had a great dinner on the patio. Everything was delicious
Beautiful atmosphere, and everyone enjoyed their meal . . . except for me. I didn’t want anything too heavy, so I ordered two tacos, one chicken and one beef. I don’t believe the cook used any seasonings whatsoever. They were extremely plane tasting, and I did not enjoy the dinner. Altogether a fun experience. I only wish I had ordered some thing else. I would definitely recommend the Bit & Spur.
I believe they were most likely short staffed like so many restaurants these days. It was hard to get the waitress to attend to us in a timely manner. They were super busy and only 1 hostess . I feel bad for the people without a reservation. Food was good and it didn't take long for it to come out once we ordered.
