   Outstanding! Our server, David, is amazing, on another level. The chef's crafted delicious food. Not a complaint amongst us.... great Bloody Mary's. We can't wait to come back!

   Perhaps they were not staffed well for a Mother's Day brunch but food took a while, the folks who sat down next to us at the same time (both two tops) still had not received their food when we were leaving. For having an open kitchen, the cooks at this "fine dining" establishment were eating on the line and touching their hair/faces, etc. Both orders of eggs benedict were tasty but all the eggs had a different consistency appearing that they were not made to order. Nice place but probably won't be back as the value isn't quite there.

   Great dinner - we were the only ones in the restaurant, so the service was awesome. My husband had the elk chop and I had the agnolotti…both enjoyed the meal as everything was very flavorful.

   Great food! Jonathan our server was great and navigated us through great cocktail selections to start. 2 of our 4 started with delicious oysters and then 3 of us had soup of the day which was a vegan carrot coconut cream garlic with balsamic - Amazing! We were celebrating a birthday for a vegan and the eggplant‘ scallops’ were enjoyed by our vegan and another diner, while another had the real scallops- so cool to see the vegan interpretation of this amazing dish! Very high end experience in the menu, wine list - maybe a bit pricey for Tahoe but well worth it.

    The restaurant was empty for brunch. We were only party. Food portions were small and unbalanced when comparing same plates. Drinks were on point. I would have given better ratings if I did not bang my knees on the table bases that are very heavy on design but completely lack practicality. I would not go again.

    Unfortunately, Bistro at the Corner did not meet our expectations. Food and ambiance were lacking, especially for a restaurant that charges fine dining prices. Appetizers and dessert were good, but the filet mignon and Cabernet Demi-glacé were an extremely salty combination and the duck risotto was undercooked (crunchy risotto). Decor is nice, but we found the dining room overly bright and the fact that various supplies were stored within sight of our table (like a huge box of Saran Wrap), did not set up the appropriate ambiance. On a good note, though, service was very friendly and accommodating.

    We had the Valentines special, which was a tenderloin filet that was cooked to perfection. The purée potatoes were delicious and out of this world. I put 3 stars for ambiance, because all the food prep is in the front of restaurant, which took away from the decor that the restaurant was going for. It was noisy, because they use a radio station instead of soft music, which again distracted from the high scale vibrations that the restaurant is trying to convey.

    There were two large, extremely loud tables that ruined our dining experience. The manager did absolutely nothing to bring these tables under control. We live three miles away and frequently bring out of town guests to local venues for dining experiences. We will not be back.

    Service was very quick and friendly. I had the duck confit and my wife had the filet mignon. Both were cooked perfectly. The truffle risotto was a little bland though. For dessert, we split a slice of cheesecake, which was a good idea because it was huge! Overall, it was a very nice dinner and we would be happy to go again.

    We were so excited to have an experience here and when we walked up we quickly realized it was expected we enter through a side door into a loud bar like environment and then enter a second door to actually enter the restaurant. Yet we wanted to make the best of the experience so we decided to try it out anyway! Immediately we were told most of the items on the on-line menu were not a available yet breakfast, brunch and lunch items were available (this was not obviously shown on the website displaying the menu) so that was also disappointing. We decided no way we would let this deter us from still trying! So we ordered a bottle of champagne, oysters and some caviar (as these were some of the items we were allowed to order listed on the on-line menu). And unfortunately we were disappointed again! Our bottle of champagne was warm, literally not cold at all and rather than offering a chilled bottle they asked us to let them place ice around the bottle and to please wait for it to chill. Nothing else was offered aside from an “oops, sorry about that and thanks for celebrating your special day with us!” Regardless, we didn’t let this get us down, we chose to stay, drink and eat what we ordered and decided we would make the best of a not so good experience. Definitely will not return.

    Booths are a bit small and tables crowded for the space available. Would be nice to have it a bit dimmer as well as it is more of a fine dining experience but the service was friendly and at a relaxed pace (so if you are in a hurry not sure how that works). All food was delicious. Surprised there were a lot of folks present with small children which added to the noise level.

    We had a wonderful date night at the Bistro. The drinks were delicious! The food was wonderful and everything came out at a nice pace. I didn’t feel rushed to finish appetizers because the meal was coming out on top of it.

    Service and front of house was great. Nice restaurant with great drinks and appetizers. Unfortunately one guest had their entree ordered entirely missed, a few of the dishes were less than acceptable for the price point. Managements discount and free dessert was appreciated but for a nearing four figure dinner this was disappointing for a birthday occasion out of town.

    Had a wonderful meal! One of the dinner specials that evening was a Sunchoke Gnocchi . It was delicious! Jonathan was our server and he was very accommodating and answered our questions and provided wonderful recommendations.

    Delicious meal at the Bistro! When we got there it was empty but quickly filled up. The focaccia was so good, as was the crudo, oysters and arancini. We had the Portobello mushroom for main course, beet salad with hangar steak, and Cesar with salmon.. everything was perfectly cooked and nicely seasoned. Even though I was full I had to try the chocolate cake- amazing! The portions were generous. We had great service from Brian We will definitely come back!
