Our first time there -- both the food and service were excellent. The menu is quite extensive and the four people in our party had a wide range of dishes-- all were very good. It is a fun ambiance, very lively but not too loud. Prices are high, but not out of line for Jackson fine dining. We will go back on our next visit
I took my mother there for her birthday and the service was wonderful! The server (I forgot his name) was very attentive and knowledgeable. We had a fantastic dinner!
Dinner on Friday evening
Taylor was an outstanding waitress. She made the night fun and the food recommendations were spot on.
First time. Host wore a mask but servers did not. In this age of Covid one would expect more safety consistency as servers bend in close. Frisée salad was outstanding. Went back for breakfast and had a great quiche though service was slow
The food was not up to par. Normally it’s excellent but this time around it was not good. Maybe the chef was off on Sunday. Great ambiance and our waitress Florentina was exceptional.
The only restaurant I have been to during the pandemic where the servers are not wearing masks. I don’t if this was a political statement or blatant disregard for their patrons health for anybody who is concerned about their health a must avoid. Food was decent and the maskless server though not the most efficient was polite. Once again the experience was affected by the careless attitude of their management despite the county having the highest Covid rate in the country
I’ve been here a few times to eat now and every time as been as good as the next! Great service, wonder food food, great drinks. Our server was super knowledgeable and helpful.
Amazing experience! The food was fantastic. I got the bison tenderloin and it was the best tenderloin I’ve ever had. Crispy on the outside and perfectly cooked inside. Highly recommend.
The Cloudveil Bistro has become my favorite dinner spot. I’ve owned a second home in Jackson for the past 22 years and have enjoyed many restaurants that have come and gone. I hope this one stays a good many years. I am especially fond of French cuisine and the Bistro is terrific.
The food was delicious, the service was fantastic, the ambience is great! We had the huckleberry cheesecake for dessert and absolutely loved it! Our cocktails, appetizer, entree, and dessert were all perfect!! One of the best dinner experiences we’ve had in Jackson!!
One of our favorite Jackson restaurants- the service and food quality are reliably outstanding.
I hate the two tops. They suck. Cause your on top of the people next to you! it was kind of annoying especially with covid cases going up!
Food was excellent and we enjoyed our meal.
Incredible dishes and service was outstanding!
A date wirh my lovely daughter
Loved the ambiance!! Our waiter was the best! She allowed us to sit and drink our wine before ordering and didn't put any pressure on us to leave. My soup and salad was delicious. It was a beet salad and the beets were cut up very small....they could have been cut larger and been easier to eat. But otherwise all was perfect!
Gavin and the Fine Dining Group always manage to hit it right on! We had a great date night!
Good almondine trout. The skin was a little burnt but the rest was delicious.
Drinks just OK.
The place is very pretty.
The menu is pretty limited.
Really nice space, excellent service and delicious food! Definitely popular
Food and service was great. Not the beautiful atmosphere I had hoped for but a really nice dinner.
Christmas Eve dinner was excellent! Food in this new location is as good as it has ever been! Seated immediately and our server, Taylor worked hard to make our experience special. The reason I did not rate it my usual outstanding was because the pace of food arrival was off-entrees were coming out before appetizer had been delivered so entrees were taken back hence not as hot as they should have been when they were redelivered. Taylor compensated as best she could! we’ll always come back-love the restaurants’ food and ambiance.
Nice place, good vibe. A little overpriced but not surprised.
Food was absolutely superb. Was a tad noisy and service a bit slow but they were packed!
the lettuce in the salad was brown. The pork chop was ordered medium and arrived as tough as shoe leather and burned to a crisp. The service was pretty much non-existent.
Overall the food was good, but not great. Escargot was adequate, salad was good and the French onion soup was excellent. The mussels were fine.
Big fan of this restaurant usually. Brought my visiting Family here for a special occasion. The manager walked us to our seat and was very rude and did not accommodate our table ask that was also listed in our reservation from 6 weeks ago. Our server was nice but showed up to our table not wearing her mask. We very kindly asked her to wear one, which she did. When she returned, she was not wearing a mask again. With JH at high risk for covid with the new variant I hoped to see the Bistro taking this seriously. I could count on one hand the servers and team members wearing their masks correctly. The open kitchen concept is a nice architectural feature for many restaurants- but ultimately lead us to have drinks only and leave because we could see the cooks and kitchen manager not wearing a mask at all. Rough go all around from the moment we walked in, unfortunately.
We had an excellent dining experience. Our server, Margaret, was very good. My husband had venison and I had scallops – – both were excellent choices. The wine list is extensive and we enjoyed a good Pinot Noir. It was noisy, but I think that was because of several Christmas parties and they were certainly enjoying themselves! We will definitely be back.
Excellent dinner destination for an occasion or fun family get-together. And, of all things, good-quality oysters in the middle of Wyoming!
Still an awesome restaurant with great veggie options. The cauliflower steak is unfortunately no longer on the dinner menu but the chickpea fries were awesome and the butternut squash confit is tasty and unique.
Excellent oysters and mussels, martinis yummy
We enjoyed a wonderful conversation with friends over delicious dinner, wine, and dessert. The evening could not have been more splendid!
Food and service were outstanding at the Bistro. The only reason I did not give a "5" overall is the fact that it is really noisy, to the point where it can be difficult to carry on a conversation. A little noise abatement work, and this would earn a perfect "5".
Ate on a Friday night and enjoyed the 2 for 2 meal which we did not know was going on. Wanted to try The Bistro since we had always enjoyed his former restaurant. A little disappointed that when it moved into an upscale hotel, the prices seemed to have gone up as well. No longer had affordable oysters or happy hour drinks that could compete with most of the other restaurants in town.
My wife had scallops (the Friday special) but they were not blackened like they had done before. Two of my 4 lamb chops were medium/medium well vice medium rare. Disappointed in the food, but the atmosphere was energetic and everyone that sat with us at the bar throughout were friendly.
I would recommend that at least one bartender get a personality. Most were very outgoing and gave us good recommendations for our 3 day stay given that a number of new restaurants and some "dive bars" we actually wanted to try.
Very tasty scallops with fresh spinach and artisanal mushrooms in a delicious brown sauce. I wished there was more of the sauce! I refrained from licking the bowl.
We were looking forward to eating the special. It’s why we chose to come Saturday night!! Our reservation was for 6:30 and the special ran out!!! Please plan better. We love the Bistro and eat there on a regular basis. We learned that the scallops special from. Friday sold out by 5:30 and that people were angry
I would encourage the kitchen to prep more specials. We were very disappointed. Our server was great. He gave us a free dessert which was nice.
Our meals were delicious. Service was great. We’ll be back but will ask yo have the special preordered when we make our reservation
Meatloaf came out cold in the middle. They heated it and re plated it very nicely
This was our first visit to this new addition to the Jackson dining scene. There are a good variety of menu choices, which should be able to accommodate most any diners preferences. We chose the venison and rack of lamb. Both were exquisite in their preparation. Fantastic dessert selection!
This is one of the best places to eat in Jackson. Enjoy it!
