The Birdcage Restaurant and Bar drew inspiration from its leafy surroundings, in particular the beautiful Fig Tree that dominates the Kingsway Restaurant Precinct. This glorious tree plays host to many species of colourful birds and it is this vibrancy that embodies the soul of all we do and are at The Birdcage. Life is always improved with a little fun and flamboyance. So, with this in mind we want your time dining with us to be both enjoyable but more so, memorable. Love eating at the Birdcage, we’re there two or three times a month and the service is wonderful starting from the very nice blonde lady who greets you at the door, the schnitzel is the best I’ve ever tasted, the tacos are amazing and the Mezz platter is just lovely. We’re looking to buy a house in the area and I can see this restaurant becoming our local favourite

Happy to write a review, as we've always enjoyed eating at this restaurant, the staff are lovely, the food is good, and it's not overly priced. However, being asked to write a review is one thing, but seriously, verification via my phone number, then a second verification via my email just to get to the stage of ticking a few boxes, Are you serious? Please don't bother sending anymore requests to write a review as I'll just delete the email next time, what a waste of my time.

One of the most beautiful vistas I've had in a long time. And this was at a shopping mall. Awesome service ice impeccable. 👍

Had a wonderful meal for my mother's birthday. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food and drink. Will be back to try the rest of the menu.

I have been here many times and often order the same meal . Having not been for a year as I have moved away I was disappointed with the smaller serving size of the lamb salad The cocktail I ordered was mostly juice with no alcohol Staff were lovely as usual
