The restaurant did not have our booking. Luckily I rang day before to check and they managed to fit us in. I had booked 2 months previously.

Food was nice. Some menu items good value for money but some over priced. Disappointingly we were rushed off our table without any prior warning when we still had wine left. Who knows where we would have eaten dessert should we have chosen to order one

Menu nothing special, but, that said the food was fantastic and could not be faulted. Service very poor. Initially, there were about 5 members of serving staff standing around the bar in the restaurant and waited quite sometime before our order was taken. Our plates took away and asked if we wanted a dessert - then told the table was required in 20 mins - this really put us off the restaurant as the we were not told it was due back within a time limit. Ask for the bill and got the wrong one. Would go back again, but, needs improvement in staffing.

Excellent food, service a little slow. Disappointed we didn't get seated as per our request upon reservation; however overall experience very good.

Birthday meal for mum . As always, food lovely (especially the roast dinner ). Waiting staff a bit slow and a bit slap dash with the way they set the food down for the table but all polite none the less . The restaurant is pretty noisy (probably due to open plan nature, stone walls and large windows ) and so it is difficult to hear conversations around the table . We still like it though and have been several times
