Absolutely appalling service and the food was terrible. All the vegetables and Yorkshire pudding was rock hard and cold, the chefs put horseradish on children’s and toddlers plates resulting in their mouths very sore. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anybody at all. This was my birthday meal and it was so so disappointing.

Apparently they were in the middle of a hand over to new membership. But we weren’t told that. We were given a temporary menu. And half of it was out of stock. Didn’t even have fosters on tap. My wings to start and steak were delicious. But the main reason I chose to come here was for the dauphinois potatoes - which they didn’t have, or jacket potatoes. So that was extremely disappointing. We initially had a lady attending to our table and her attitude absolutely stank. Then changed to a young man who was nice. But still didn’t explain the difficulty the kitchen was having until we asked why we were receiving such a terrible time. I don’t think we should have paid full price for our meal in all honesty. Very bad all in all

Enjoyable with very good service. The food was also good. The only downside is that it was noisy, due mainly to two very young children not being controlled and running around the bar area shouting etc. Not the restaurant's fault but they were often impeding the waiting staff and it was somewhat hazardous. I appreciate that this was a family time and probably a one off but it did detract a little

Husband and I had a Sunday lunch out. Although they had run out of the meal my husband wanted the meal was good. The vegetarian meal was great would even say the best veggie meal I have ever had

We love the Bickley. Families are always very welcome and the food is delicious. The team are also super helpful and accommodating too. I would say that it seems that the prices are slowly creeping up and up making it more of a treat restaurant as apposed to a spot of pub type grub 😔

Usually visit quite often for the £10 roast dinner on a Sunday evening, and every time the food is great but the service lets it down a bit. Slow to have order taken, wait ages for plates to be collected after we’ve finished, wait ages for dessert menu. And also on this visit a lack of red wine available by the glass?!?

Had to wait over an hour and 30 mins for our mains to come and the restaurant wasn't even half full. We didn't wait that long for food when we've been previously and there wasn't a free table in sight, though one waitress for the whole area wasn't enough then either. Food was amazing though, just a shame the service wasn't up to scratch. Obviously lacking in staff.
