   Typical of most downtown cocktail bars the drinks are very expensive. They were good and our bartenders was extremely competent. The ambience was lovely as well.

   There was like 5 people outside eyeballing everyone walking in. Which was awkward. Thankfully we had a resi and were led to our table. We saw that everyone always complains about the drink prices. Money is not an issue with us (thankfully) but we somehow paid $54 for 2 drinks that were both priced at $18. The wait staff stops at 10:30. We waited for so long to get a second drink, ordered (before 10:30), were approached by a random woman who canceled our order and brought us our check. We asked for our drinks to be brought and our tab to be closed out. I guess miscommunication led to us not getting our drinks. It was my birthday today, while the ambiance was great the service was -20. 10/10 would NOT recommend unless you want to take some cute pics, sit at the bar for decent service, or fish for someone to take home. So lame tbh. I’m not even hating cause it’s my birthday. I’ve lived here 10 years, this place is trying to be what soho house is in terms of pricing for what jos coffee is in terms of service. Skip it and hit bosses office or Rosevelt room instead! (Resies def required for both)

   We came for a round of cocktails around 9pm on a Friday night. Ambiance was great, service was amazing, but the cocktails were underwhelming. We had better (and cheaper) cocktails at our dinner before coming here and were not totally pleased with any of our drinks and had a $130 bill for our 4 cocktails. Not awful, but wouldn’t come here again for good cocktails. Maybe would try coming again later at night when it turns more into a dance vibe and for cheaper well drinks.

   Honestly disappointed. Have been to the Betty repeatedly the past few months. This time I had to get up every time I wanted a drink and order it from the bartender while the waitress (3 of them ) sat on their phone for 2 hours. My biggest issue is the 20% auto gratuity. If you’re gonna charge it you better ensure I actually get service. This Is a one off so hoping my review is actually seen and the manager reacts !!! Great venue loved the music and the bartender was phenomenal!!!

   The Betty is the BEST Cocktail Lounge in Austin hands down. Amazing ambiance, vibe, and energy. I'll be going back for sure. One of the owners (I believe his name is Andrew) showed me the best time of my life when I was there. The Betty is a classy place, but definitely a place where you can have an incredible night out as well. Definitely check this place out.

   The person who served us wasn’t very attentive, even though the place wasn’t crowded. The drinks were good but, in my opinion, quite strong. There’s a speakeasy section that requires a “membership” to enter, though it wasn’t clear what that meant—the host provided one explanation, while the staff inside gave a completely different one. On the positive side, the music was great, the atmosphere was relaxed, the place itself was beautifully decorated, and the host was very friendly and welcoming. Overall, it’s a nice spot with potential, but the service and communication could be improved.

   I visited alone on Valentine’s Day, and the experience of being greeted at the door was one of the most glamorous encounters I’ve had in Austin, Texas. The greeter made me feel like a superstar as I walked in. The hostess and bartenders were incredibly energetic, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly, creating an inviting atmosphere that made me eager to return. I requested a cocktail with mezcal from the bartender, and he certainly did not disappoint; it was a beautifully balanced drink.

   Exceptional experience! Definitely what Austin has been missing for some time. The ambience, service and drinks exceeded our expectations. We’ll definitely be back!
