   We were a group of 9, and most of use ordered off the happy hour menu. The food's portion size was perfect. We also ordered highballs off the happy hour menu. The Happy hour was from 5 to 7, so it was the perfect place to go with colleagues afterwork. It's definitely the new sport for us because happy hour is actually after work, and the appetizers we ordered were amazing. Majority of us ordered the Avocado and Chips. The atmosphere wasn't too loud, unlike other restaurants we were able to hear each other and converse freely. Our waitress was kind, understanding and helpful.

   I took my mom and sister when they were visiting in Toronto and we had a wonderful experience! The manager Fiona is so on top of things and the staff are super nice.

   Great place to eat before a comedy show - location is convenient, menu offers several options, service is quick & the restaurant section where we sat is very relaxing.

   We love The Bentwood, great place to go before an event at Scotiabank Arena. The staff is great. New manager Fiona is awesome.

   We had sharables and drinks, everything was delicious! Our hostess and server were so friendly and really set the pre-show tone. I would highly recommend!

   Having the bentwood as part of second city is a great idea however it was winterlicious, and there was no indication on the website that the full menu was not available so when we got there, that was a surprise to us. the food quality was average. The service was subpar, especially given that we told them we were going to the show. we had to keep asking for the server to bring our drinks, Bring our food bring our bill. More staff was needed at that particular time of day in order to support everybody going to the show and bringing out orders in time. The price point is also too high given the quality or lack thereof of food. Our server was friendly but they seemed under staffed.

   Great experience. Food was great, service was fast, fun and efficient. This experience paired with the comedy show made for a great date night!

   We dined at Bentwood for winterlicious. Potato skin appetizer was delicious. Salmon main course was good but there were bones in it. My friend got the chicken and found it on the dry side. Lemon creme brulee dessert was amazing. Loved the ambiance and the service was good!! Not a bad experience for the price!

    We went on a Tuesday night, so the Bar area on the one side wasn’t really happening, it looks like a great area though. The restaurant side is very casual … it’s convenient to go straight into the show from there. The food was pretty good, we were there for the Winterlicious menu and although it was nothing to rave about, they did a nice job with the dishes. Ambiance is OK, feels more like a sports bar than a restaurant.  Service wasn’t great… It didn’t seem like meals other than bar food was their forté. They were a little slow and had to ask for utensils, napkins etc. also they didn’t offer water without asking. Overall it’s was good.
