   Reception was not very welcome, too arrogant and snob. The rest was good.

   We had very high hopes for The Belvedere having enjoyed Wild and Burger Lobster. The restaurant was beautiful and they accommodated our request to sit on the terrace. The food itself was excellent and that’s all the positives. The negatives however are frustrating for a restaurant at this price point. Firstly as we don’t drink alcohol we anticipated we could get a glass of alcohol free bubbles - as we can at all the other restaurants in the group. However we could only get the alcohol free bubbles if we would spend £70 on a bottle. It would have been cheaper to buy wine by the glass but we didn’t want to be forced into drinking alcohol. They did point out two mocktails on the menu - by dismissingly telling us it was the ones with the 9 as the charge. However even those £9 glasses were only filled a quarter of the way. The service was amateur, surprisingly unknowledgeable and incredibly rushed. We sat for only one minute before being asked to order and while we were able to slow that process down, once we got our starters, the mains were brought before we even finished our first course. I should note the first waiter vanished and it was a second waiter who brought the mains while we eating the starters - who also tried to take my partner’s bread plate which she was clearly using at the time. The service was so fast that by the time we finished eating it had only been 35 minutes since we sat. Then once the plates were cleared and we had the pudding menu before us, we were ignored for 40 minutes. We finally got our pudding which we enjoyed and after asking for the bill twice we were able to pay. Even that was done wrong - the waiter came up to me before we departed apologizing that she still had to charge me an additional two pounds. Clearly £2 was more important that serving us properly or ensuring we enjoyed our afternoon.

   Food and drinks were great, the cocktails in particular were a highlight! Service was attentive, the place had a really nice vibe and great for a treat date night.

   Lovely meal on the back terrace . Our dog was made welcome and the food was excellent. Our waiter was very polite and accommodating. Thank you

   Very nice ambiance and amazing service from staff. Food was lovely minus the truffle pasta being a little bit too oily

   Fantastic. We had a meal here after we got engaged in Holland Park. We were sat on the terrace which was amazing in the sun - very quiet and intimate. Will definitely be returning soon!

    Great food, excellent quality and inventive dishes. Excellent wine list at multiple price points. Superb cocktails. Service was attentive but discreet and friendly. Setting was delightful.
