Located in the heart of Islamorada at mile marker 81.6, the Morada Bay Keys Beach Café & Bar lays amidst a beautiful palm-lined beach, overlooking blue waters, with walking paths through tropical flowers. You’ll find inside and outside bars and dining areas, live unique entertainment, spectacular sunsets and a large child-friendly beach with cozy Adirondack chairs.

The Café is conceived to evoke the feel of a beach café where the Hawaiian and Californian surfers and sailboarders would relax after a day on the water. As such, its walls are adorned with surfboards, longboards, sail and kite boards, as well as many original 60’s surf posters.

The Café’s menu showcases the freshest in local seafood and produce, the fare is both innovative and eclectic. The Café’s bar and wine offerings are equally noteworthy. The Café is open for dining seven days a week from 11 AM to 10 PM.

The table seating is spread out along the sandy waterfront. Wait staff highly trained and happy. This place is much more polished then some other establishments nearby. Highly recommend for sunset viewing and good menu options.

Our experience: • 90 minute wait for food • Food was cold and very underwhelming when it finally arrived. • Asked for a margarita but if mezcal was fine in lieu of tequila… but were not given notice that they would bill us $47 instead of $13 for it. (Not convinced they even used mezcal) • Server Ashley was kind, but overworked . • We asked the gentleman who brought our food: hows your day “not good” The view was great at sunset, but for $300 I would skip the Morada Bay Beach Cafe.

This was a quintessential tourist trap for the location. Food was mediocre at best. Servers tried to do their best but it’s clear the systems prevent them from being customer-focused.

Perfect bayside sunset-watching location. The restaurant is pretty good, not bad, not exceptional but the setting is the main attraction. Must see

We did not have a good experience. This is our second time being here. The first time service was terrible. The food was OK. The second time service was even worse. The food was not good at all. I would not recommend.
