   We came to the Barn at Moor Hall for a family Christmas meal. We have been here before and can’t get enough of the whole feel of the barn. The food is exceptional, presented well, tasteful and expertly served. As always we were well looked after by the front of house staff. Looking at the kitchen, a calm and creative experience to watch. The Christmas decorations added that warm homeliness to the dining experience. A wonderful day, thanks

   I have been going to Barn since it opened but of late they have changed the menu to a much richer food menu, almost like Moor Hall but on starter, main course basis. I miss the bistro type food they used to serve. Since the menu changed it is quite expensive for what it is.

   Had a casual Friday lunch at the Barn last week. One of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a long time. Amazing flavours, really well appointed brasserie and a nice concise list of reasonably priced wines. This place has now become our favourite local restaurant overnight (well, over lunch anyway). Looking forward to trying the main restaurant soon.

   Food was good, a Lille pricey but we knew that so no problem but the meal was ruined by the fact that we were so cold. They said the boiler wasn’t working but in that case they should have provided heaters

   A great lunch stop when driving north to Glasgow. The three course lunch was very tasty; service was friendly and professional and excellent value all round. Thank you

   Service at start was poor. Waited for water for quite a while. It then improved once we ordered wine. Food, simply superb
