Food (artic char and catfish) were excellent as usual. Service was prompt. Cocktails a little pricey.

We had a lovely meal. This time we sat in their cozy bar area. Everything was delectable. And that ice cream! What a treat!!!

Nice decor and location. The food is fine but not outstanding. I ordered the hazelnut finished pork chop. Which you would think included hazelnut, but no. When I asked the server where the hazelnuts were, she said the "pork was finished on a diet of hazelnuts" - translation - the pig's last meal was hazelnuts. No other menu item referred to the animal's last meal. Ridiculous, could be a Portlandia episode.

Hello Shannon, It is a little Portlandia, but we include information about our farms and how the meat is raised so that people can feel good about the meat they are eating. Those piggies are treated very well and so, so tasty! I never want to eat a grocery store pork chop again! We think it's cool. It's kind of like putting "grass-fed" or "grain finished" on the steaks. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. Take care.

Had the blackened catfish with rice. Fish was good. Rice was undercooked. My wife had the scallops with oca and roe. Scallops were a little soft and the oca was undercooked. The whiskey selection is awesome. The salads were great. The service was excellent.

Not a great menu, no lobster, filet mignon. What they had was good but somewhat overpriced considering the other excellent options in downtown McMinnville

Hello Tom, I am so sorry that your experience was anything less then amazing. This makes me sad to hear because our crew felt so great at the end of the night. We served an extraordinary number of happy couples on Valentine's. I'm so glad you enjoyed what you did get, but we have never served lobster, unfortunately. Our menu is posted online. We did have filet on the menu and did not sell out of it on Valentine's day, as we expected that to be very popular. Thank you for your sincere feedback.

Very disappointing. Terrible seating for a couple with reservations (bar table by a 10 top party and another very large, noisy gathering with young children running around) instead of the restaurant side (not for lack of availability but according to management the hostess didn't understand the concept of a reservation). Food was so undercooked we returned it and very over seasoned with pepper. Other than pepper most of the food was flavorless and bland. Dessert was also undercooked. Pathetic alcohol list available. The only good thing was the mushroom risotto and our waitress had great service skills. It has the "potential" for a romantic spot but I wouldn't return.

Hi Kate, Again, I am so disappointed this was your experience. I do hope you and your husband take me up on my offer to have you back as our guests and give you the experience you were looking for and should have had. I appreciate you taking the time to talk with me. Warmest regards, Michelle Blade

We enjoyed the experience and the food. My wife ordered a special drink and they came up with exactly what she wanted. The only knock was that the Appetizer and the soup came at the same time. That is not a real big thing. We will be back.
