   Traveled 25 mins to get here, was 6 mins late, the guy kept me waiting another minute and then told us we were too late and the kitchen was closed. And then proceeded to argue with me as to whether it was 7 mins past the hour or 8….really???? We had a 2pm table and apparently the kitchen closes at 2pm on the dot- something seems a little wrong here guys?!? Grumpy and unwelcoming front of house- left immediately and will never return. Thanks for wasting our time and have yourself a lovely day!

   This is a fairly regular haunt for us. Everything was just as I would expect and have experienced. Consistency is the basis of quality!

   We had a wonderful evening and were very impressed, we would certainly return. We had a warm welcome by the owner and waiting staff and were taken to our table. The area we sat in was beautiful decorated, with a lovely ambience. We were attended to quickly, with an impressive menu. The food was exquisite, great flavours, expertly put together and artistically presented. Good portion sizes, and I can’t express enough how tasty the food was! The staff were so friendly and fun, they made the evening a lovely experience. We drove some way to visit and would gladly travel again. We can highly recommend.

   Really lovely experience. Food was fantastic, staff were all amazing, Mark, the manager, is an absolute joy. Plenty of happy customers all round. Thank you.

   We were gutted to find out that the full menu wasn't being served on a Monday, but we still had an amazing meal from the bar menu.

   The food we had was lovely but way overpriced and tiny portion sizes (and that’s from a family who do not eat large meals) The service was friendly and reasonably prompt but with only 3 tables including our it should have been a bit slicker

   Repeat visit as we enjoyed it so much last time and it didn’t disappoint. Thank goodness for the double cooked cheddar soufflé as it’s still amazing. Always fresh local ingredients and a good wine list. Highly recommend!
