Fabulous food -absolutely delicious. Great service: all the staff are really good but Mark is especially fantastic - friendly, polite, funny and competent. This is our family’s favourite restaurant and definitely worth the half hour drive!

Would definitely recommend. Visited on a Tuesday, when the offer just the bar menu which was fabulous and as tasty as their regular options!

The Baiting House way exceeded our expectations.the whole experience was excellent! Staff were attentive but not obtrusive and the restaurant is lovely. The best though, was the food. We were a party of 4 all having three courses each. Every dish was superb, no exceptions. I absolutely recommend the Baiting House!

This had great reviews and we were looking for somewhere new locally combined with a country walk. Nice building, friendly welcoming staff and exceptional food. However it was a busy-ish Sunday service and a very distracting environment, with loud staff member/customers, noisy flapping doors/shouting to the kitchen and awful/piercing music. At this price/quality level it needs to feel more special and relaxing! But worth a visit if food is the most important thing for you

We stayed in a hottub lodge for our anniversary everything about the stay was 10/10 it was scenic and peaceful the food in the baiting house pub was amazing and the staff were all very attentive and lovely definitely recommend a stay here.

Perfect from start to finish. It was my husband and mine first time visiting here and we were not disappointed. Welcoming and friendly staff throughout. We sat outside for drinks and the cheese soufflé and then had the cutest private table for our main meal inside. The food was incredible. Highly recommend and look forward to going back! Suzy
