Amazing afternoon tea at the College Green Hotel! The Atrium Lounge — with plush, comfortable seating, a cozy fireplace, and bird-themed decor and china, provided an elegant atmosphere. Live piano music was a nice touch, and didn’t drown out conversation. Wide selection of teas (we tried 10.) Selection of tea sandwiches and scones was pretty standard, yet tasty. Sweets were artfully presented, and delicious. Two tea stands of food were more than enough for 4 people, and we took leftovers home in cute purse-shaped boxes. What made our visit extra special, though, was the superior level of service received from Nikhil, our server. We’ve been lucky enough to enjoy afternoon tea in many countries, yet have never received service of this caliber. While most tea servers would have been content to robotically take orders, drop off tea trays, and disappear, Nikhil was the Tea Whisperer! Being from the Himalayas, he was very knowledgeable not only about which teas to recommend, but also about how the teas were grown, blended, and how they fit into a rich cultural backdrop. He even showed us photos of tea farms in the Himalayas! Nikhil made my daughter’s 21st birthday memorable, too. He asked the pianist to play Happy Birthday, and brought out a special birthday platter for her. We felt incredibly looked after, and at no time felt rushed. If you’re looking for a great afternoon tea experience, don’t pass this up. And be sure to ask for Nikhil!

This was a really lovely afternoon, the staff were very friendly and attentive where needed. The food was very good, well presented but rich at the same time. Sandwiches, scones were great but my husband and I both struggled with the dessert level - felt there was just 1 too many puddings (not obviously a major problem - the cheesecake felt the one that didn’t really need to be there). Lovely ambiance with the piano in the background whilst enjoying the afternoon tea. Overall we had a really nice time!

It's an experience to have afternoon tea particularly Saturday or Sunday where the pianist plays a wide range of music from popular to classical. The staff couldn't do enough to make sure that it was the best experience that it could be. Without hesitation highly recommended. A fantastic gift to give anyone.

I brought my mum here to celebrate her 60th birthday with afternoon tea. The building and setting itself gives off a Bridgestone style vibe so really made the dining experience feel that bit more exceptional. The table is laid out beautifully, the service from each person who worked there was really attentive, polite and really couldn't do enough for us. I had ore planned plain scones and these were freshly baked and delicious. The end was topped off by a personal Happy Birthday small dessert which was really lovely and kind, something that didn't have to be done but was special and meant alot to my mum. I would 100% dine here again, the selection of afternoon tea suited my mums posh taste and my basic taste ha ha. There was nice thab enough food for us both to which we had to take some cake hone with us. Honestly, don't even hesitate to book here you will love it at The Atrium. Thank you so much Jodie
