   There were want much choice for food. We was waiting over an hour for a burger a chips. There wasn’t much choice for drink as all we wanted was coke and there wasn’t any. There was one member of staff and service was very slow

   Upon our arrival at the restaurant we noticed that there were no cars at all in the car park. All lights seemed to be out in the restaurant area. We inquired at reception as to why this was so, to be informed that the restaurant was closed for dinner on Sundays. This despite the fact we were able to book online through OpenTable. Very disappointed as it was a treat for my wife's birthday, meaning we had to then hunt for another restaurant in the area. I will never book a table again using OpenTable.

   Visited in order to celebrate a birthday and anniversary.Initially,disappointed with the menu as it had changed from the menu shown when I booked originally.However,we were offered sirloin steaks in addition to the normal menu and we were also offered a dessert which was not on the menu..The food itself was very enjoyable and the service very good.We had the restaurant to ourselves and were able to take our time over the meal and enjoy the occasion so it suited us.Others might feel there was insufficient atmosphere.All in all a very enjoyable experience although I would have preferred a more extensive menu.

   It would have been fine but the restaurant wasn't open and knew nothing of our booking. I have already reported this to you but have had no response!

   Very friendly and helpful staff. Food was lovely and reasonable priced. Will be returning again and recommending Clough Manor to friends.

   The Sunday lunch is excellent value. I am not keen on vegetables but both times I have been I have loved the vegetables. Water on the table is a bonus. The magician enhanced the meal without being intrusive. Loved it. The access in a wheelchair is not as good as it could be. The lane is potholed and it is a long push along the tamp and then inside can be like an obstacle course. The waitress said that she wasn't expecting us despite booking online. I actually had a reminder online so a little surprised that the staff are not warned to get the table ready. However, will definitely be back.

   Lovely family trying to do their best having invested a lot of money in the premises but sadly failing. Bar far too bright, no atmosphere at al, lights blazing no candles lit. Family antics not really appropriate in front of clients. G&T no ice no slice. Told were busy (fair enough) but whilst the food was edible but poorly presented, the service was like a comedy sketch. Not through a lack of trying, just clearly no idea what they are doing. Wine served to next table unopened. They had to ask to get it opened after which it was plonked back on the table for them to poor. I've never been served by staff in white gloves and had to poor my own drinks. No bread rolls, burnt bacon, the list goes on. Sad really. Please please please book a table at a good restaurant in Manchester and go and see what good looks like. Good luck!

   Nice service and very attentive. The meal was well cooked and presented would certainly eat hear again.

   Excellent food, excellent value, excellent service. I would recommend the 3 course sunday lunch to anyone.
