Amazing dinner. Excellent service by Jose our server. So happy we spent Thanksgiving here and had a delicious meal. We appreciate and love that they have stayed open during this time. They were taking precautions: wearing masks, wearing shields, and frequently cleaning tables.
I love dining here for Thanksgiving! Everything was on point and heaters were available for outdoor dining.
What a wonderful Thanksgiving meal, comfortable set up, exceptional service! So glad we chose The Arbour as a start to the holiday season! We look forward to dining here again soon.
We love this restaurant!!! Great food and I am so happy to sit in their patio area because it feels normal. So sad that king Newsom and king Garceitti dictate that we can no longer enjoy going out to dinner while they and their families can. I guess the elites are not subject to any virus like the rest of the ordinary people are.
First time in the Arbor since March! I have missed being in a restaurant soooo much. We both ordered bowls of the Butternut Squash soup to start - as good as I remember! I had the bacon tart appetizer for my entree and it was perfect - light and flaky and bacony! And my friend had the shrimp penne which was full of shrimp in that delectable sauce. A lovely lunch. The ONLY negative was a family that came in WITHOUT MASKS and sat right next to us!! Not 6 feet away. We glared at them- but, of course, they were clueless. We got our checks and packed up as soon as we could - no dessert for us - and left.
Beautiful restaurant & the owners have done a nice job of making the most of the COVID-19 restrictions. The food is definitely tasty, but not as sophisticated as the menu leads you to believe. That being said, if the price points were better aligned with the regularity of the dishes, that would make more sense. The waitstaff was helpful and polite, but the desserts were all very bland and under-prepared. The coffee we ordered with dessert was served cold to the entire party. The manager did re-brew a pot so that was appreciated, but we didn't get to drink it with our dessert. Considering times are tough with COVID, I would give the restaurant another try once they are no longer cutting corners.
Excellent experience. Ate in the “inside patio.” The butternut squash soup and caeser salad were delish, for entree we had the shrimp pasta and the garlic chicken breast... reasonable prices for a wonderful meal! The flavors are so pleasing to the palette. Thank you to The Arbour. ❤️❤️❤️
The most wonderful dining experience I’ve had in a very long time! The protocols for social distancing were tremendous with tables separated and limited to 4 people. The restaurant is beautiful anyway, but the food was fantastic! Terrific staff all around and very attentive! My friend and I had not seen each other in months and it was a wonderful relaxing Sunday afternoon. The sea bass was delectable and the vanilla panna cotta was a delight!
20 year anniversary dinner with no acknowledgment. Even with reservations was seated outside on the sidewalk with two outdoor heaters, only one of which was working. Patio would have been way nicer, but not available to us. Server was nice and very capable. Food was better than just ok, but seated on the sidewalk it got cold almost immediately. Definitely not worth $200+ for two adults and a kid. All in all our 20 year anniversary dinner there was nothing special.
Excellent food, wine and table by the fireplace made the outdoors cozy.
Beautiful and social distanced seating. Great menu options for all.
Good service! Generous delicious pasta servings. Will be back.
So glad they are hanging in there! This dinner went a bit better than our first post-covid visit. The squash soup, cocktails, and chocolate mousse dessert were actually outstanding, not just "okay for covid dining." I'm hoping for even more improvements as they expand their indoor seating and add more heaters outside.
With Covid going on they are doing a great job. Food superbly done.
Food was so amazing, service was outstanding , extremely accommodating given the COVID situation. Cannot wait to go back soon.
Best food on Lake street by far
Emperor Newsom still has us eating on the sidewalk, so the noise level is not the fault of The Arbour
Awesome. What a gem. Please go there and support this wonderful restaurant!!!
Dinner was fabulous! Def recommend it!! Service snd ambience wonderful!
Love the food, the staff and wonderful atmosphere
With Covid Arbour has become a escape for us that is fantastic
The food was excellent, the service the best I've had in years. They have done a good job of separating tables so we felt pretty safe. Our first time eating out since the craziness began and it was a great experience.
A good restaurant- basic evening dining
Delicious food, amazing service, beautiful ambience
The food is delicious. Everything on the menu is always delicious. I can’t wait until they get their regular menu back. But, the Covid menu has huge portions. The service is always efficient and super friendly. I’m so glad they are open!
Great neighborhood gem! Great food, great service! LOVE this place!!!
Delicious Farm to Table Spot that was a perfect mini date night!!!
Glad to see them open again. This place fires on all cylinders. High marks on all counts. They have done a good job adjusting to COVID. Here’s to a brighter future for them.
Lovely service and creative, well-executed cuisine. Highly recommended!
Not over rated but dining out is gotten out of hand $$$$.
The bill was over $100.00 for a glass of wine, two cocktails, a salad and one main course.
Although we as consumers are willing to spend more due to the ever increasing regulations placed upon these establishments a line must be drawn . Maybe restaurant owners can start a coalition to combat ways to diminish the cost of customers dining out ? By the way, the avocado salad and the main course duck was very tasty .
The Arbour is exceptional! The food is inventive, light, and healthy. Service is professional, knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly. Great restaurant!
I had high expectations per the descriptions online. We online a Caesar salad, shrimp penne pasta and seared ahi. The food was bland and uninspired - the pasta was not seasoned, it was just lots of cream with chopped pieces of shrimp ( it was just bad and for the price point a rip off). The ahi plate was also bad. The wine list was not good but either. It’s all about the food really: you want to pay to eat something decent, and this is not it. It took forever to get our drinks, the server was helpful though but too much ceremony and time wasted. We sat outside so that’s a plus that they have outdoor seating. I wouldn’t recommend going to the arbor , and I feel bad because we wanted to support our local restaurants but won’t be back there.
First time we dine out since March 2020 Covid-19 lockdown. The food was still the same as before - Excellent! Seating definitely reduced which is a good thing. Our party of 4 set on the patio which was very nice and at least 6 feet distance from each other. Hand sanitizer readily available, Wait staff all wore masks plus shields. Felt safe.
Delicious food, great wait staff, perfect in every way!
We tried their outdoor dining and were satisfied with the cleanliness of the table and utensils. Lighting and separation of tables were well done. The sea bass and rib-eye steak were perfect. We can't wait to see them bring back some popular menu items such as seafood salad, smoke duck and baked California.
The service was attentive and pleasant. We were surprised that the online menu had little in common with what was available on the "real" menu. The wine list discrepancies were particularly problematic. The salad and main course were very good tasting and nicely presented.
The BIG problem with Arbour is the noise: the polished concrete floors and the abundance of glass walls make the noise level in the main room perfectly awful. For us, dining is more a social experience rather than a nutritional event. The sound level in the restaurant makes conversation almost impossible. Perhaps I might have take-out from Arbour, but I will never willingly dine in this user-unfriendly room again.
Great considering it’s outdoor sidewalk dining . Bridgette was great
We loved the experience! Food was a great especially given the level of quality, presentation and staff attentiveness at such a reasonable price. There are not many other restaurants at this price point that offer as such. Would definitely recommend and am looking forward to returning in the future!
Coolio, duck and prime rib are the best
The food is not quite as excellent post-covid, but I'm so happy that they're open for outdoor dining (and for delivery, before that) as this is one of our favorite restaurants and I'm really pulling for them to survive the corona crisis. I especially appreciate the lovely atmosphere they've created outdoors, as well as the fact that they've kept their wine prices low. Cheers!
Outstanding dinner. Really glad to see their high standards of service and quality of meal hasn’t suffered during these difficult times. Thoroughly enjoyed “outdoor” dining experience, which was really the open air inner atrium area of the main restaurant.
