The restaurant was hot and although some peoples food was good, others was disappointing. Everyone’s food was luke warm.

Gorgeous space! Food was good but not spectactular. Service was slow despite the low number of patrons. But our server, Amber was the best!

We had a wonderful dining experience. Our menu selections were excellent and Kate made our dining experience wonderful. We also had an opportunity to be assisted by Peter, who has always been amazing and extrmemly helpful to us.

This was our first anniversary and both the Apparatus Room and the Detroit Foundation Hotel made it so special. On the reservation, we mentioned it was where we had our first date and the fact we had been together for a year. The management made us feel like royalty last night. We had a superb server (Emily) and house sommelier (Alex) to serve us a perfect meal. All dishes were served at the proper temperature. We enjoyed excellent wine paired nicely with the meal. We enjoyed the crudo, fresh oysters, the house sourdough bread, and Caesar Salad. The gnocchi and beef tournedos were quickly devoured. The ambience of the dining room with its beautiful bar and open kitchen gave a sense of purpose and being somewhere special. The history of the building as the Detroit Fire Department headquarters explained the unique features of.

Went here for brunch with my husband and brother-in-law and we had the best service. Forgot the name of the waiter but he was outstanding.

Good food. Service was a little slow in the beginning but got better as dinner went on. Their house wines aren’t too impressive. I didn’t realize they had an extension wine collection until I walked past their wine room on my way to bathroom towards end of evening. They should really publish their wine list online so we know it’s even available.

It was very warm in the restaurant, definitely not cool enough. It was noisy, and overpriced.
