Great beer burger combos.
We had the best experience!! They were out of the pork belly appetizer so we got the wings and they did not disappoint! They were huge and had a smoked taste to die for! We had the tri-tip sandwich too. It was great especially paired with the various bbq sauces. We can’t wait to go again!
This place was closed and opentable let me make a reservation. Nothing against alpine beer company all on opentable I do not recommend using opentable I won't ever again.
It was odd, opentable failed or the the Pub failed. Open table allowed me to make a reservation, and I got a confirmation email. All systems normal.
We drove up to the Pub, and the doors were closed.
New Year's Eve no less. Not sure what happened.
Took my husband for Father’s day, it was a place he wanted to try. We had a 5:30 Rez, arrived about 10 mins. Early. They asked us to wait until 5:30, even tho there were plenty of tables. Food was ok, beer is very good. Not sure we would make the 45 min. Drive for it again tho.
Much better menu than before. Nice beer garden atmosphere.
Great atmosphere awesome beer good food. Great place
Alpine Beer Pub is Great! We love the outdoor patio seating, but it is sometimes hard to get because there is a waiting line. With Open Table, we can make a reservation - hurray! They have friendly, efficient staff and a great variety of microbrew beers from Alpine's favorite local brewery. The food is good pub food, we like the beef sliders, smoked pork in various forms, buffalo chicken sandwich, and their new Tri-tip chimichuri - yum.
Bbq was really dry and bland. Dickeys bbq down the street has better food. Mac and cheese and brussel sprouts had no flavor.
Great beer. Many varieties and some guest beers. Outdoor seating offers a relaxed picnic in the woods feel, it is best in Alpine. Indoor seating is generally noisy and more pub-like. Some new items on the menu are interesting -- try the Tri-tip sandwich with chimichurri.
We went to celebrate a birthday! The food and service was amazing! I got the chicken plate plus veggies and fries! Simple oh so good!
We had a really good experience here. Service was great. I recommend the mac n cheese. Also the Duet IPA. Yum!
Had a great waiter, the food and beer was very good, we sat inside so the noise level was high, but would recommend the Pub to family and friends.
Sadly they were out of deviled eggs. But everything we got was amazing
Meatloaf with superb. Additionally the sausage was excellent but the pulled pork was a bit dry. Service was fair. We had a hard time getting our drinks (tea, water) to be filled.
Very comfy & good brew
service and staff are 10 stars +
BLT outstanding, Brisket a little dry (I know brisket is
a tough cut to make perfect every time) mud pie ++++++ great,
would not order deep fried Brussels Sprouts (way to greasy) or maybe just over cooked
Very good BBQ and delicious authentic beers. Efficient, Friendly, neighborly service.
The meats are really good and the barbecue sauces are delicious! Have to try the fried pickles! Of course a great beer selection.
Awesome as always, can't wait to go back! The gluten reduced beer is a real treat.
I originally came here for the beer. It's spectacular. But then I had the brisket and now Everytime I come to San Diego, Alpine is a must stop. Don't be out off by it being a little out of the way, looks further than it is on a map.
Enjoyed your ABC Burger with High Kicks IPA, loved them both! All your staff was extremely friendly. They only negative is your single use restroom. I would still recommend this place to everyone.
One of the best breweries in California bar none- and their pub food is always fantastic as well as the service
Our first time visiting Alpine Beer Company Pub and we loved it! We decided to visit specifically to try the Nelson IPA and it was way worth it! Seriously one of my favorite IPAs now, we will be returning soon. We had our 2 year old and 9 year old with us and it was a very comfortable setting!
Food was good standard BBQ. Beer was delicious as always. Would be great if they did growler fills at the pub so you don't have to go to the tap room.
Delicious brews, solid barbecue, and a nice mountain drive...
I really enjoyed this venue no complaints whatsoever!
Nice dog friendly patio. Casual. Food was good. I thought my brisket sandwich was a little fatty, but it had a nice smoked flavor. The wings were really good. And loved the fried pickles. Of course the beer was delicious!
Great beer, great food, great service, and friendly atmosphere.
Best fried pickles!!!
Great food, good portions, great service. Noisy atmosphere inside, with great optional seating outdoors.
Enjoyed the ambiance and the beer! Food was good, I would recommend the BBQ and fried pickles.
Nice to have another good restaurant in Alpine. Food was presented beautifully. Only complaint was the Tuesday tacos were too moist, too many vegetables and not enough meat. Couldn't even begin to pick them up. Ribs and sandwiches were great.
I was a little disappointed that there weren’t any ribs on the menu this time around, but everything that we did eat and drink was absolutely delicious! And the staff was super accommodating, upbeat and attentive. Definitely going back soon!
I love the selection of beers - always hit the spot. Our waitress was kind enough to make us coffee even though it isn't normally requested. They have great desserts but I only wanted a scoop of vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce and again she was kind enough to provide it. I had originally made the reservation for inside seating because it was a windy day but when we got to the restaurant the outside was quite pleasant and the staff found us great seats outside.
Our service was outstanding. Fried pickles are amazing, craft beers are excellent.
Outdoor patio should be wonderful EXCEPT for the parents who allowed their 4 children to run around screaming while playing on the grass next to the patio. Parents made no effort to quiet the loud obnoxious clan for more than 40 minutes. Ruining the beautiful atmosphere of the water fall and large trees over hanging the space.
Don't recommend it unless you want to eat in the romper room where clueless selfish parents let their tribe run wild.
Our son wanted to go there for his 42nd birthday - he loves the beer. I had emailed and asked if they fill growlers. " Why, yes we do!" We took an Alpine Beer growler our son bought several years ago and a new initialed growler we gave him to have filled as part of his gift. After enjoying our dinner on the patio, paying the bill we proceeded to go have the growlers filled. Waitress said we had to go up the street to the tasting room to do that. We did. Sign on door "Closed. Private party." Son went inside and explained why we were there and asked if we could just have growlers filled. Was told 'no' - this party had paid big bucks for the place. A nice celebration and dinner turned very very sour.
I really liked the layout of the restaurant. Would be a great place to hang out with friends. I thought the beers were overall good and pretty light, but I wouldn't call myself a TRUE beer drinker. I could find quite a feed beers that I could drink though. Food was ok, nice presentation, but a bit lacking on overall flavor. Service was great and very attentive. Overall, if I'm in the area I would definitely give it another go.
